With an early kick off, live TV match and around 600 expected from QPR tomorrow's attendance figure will be interesting. I wonder if the large number of under 12 season tickets sold this season has heightened the clubs suspicions that a few are being abused by 'older' fans.
-
I wonder if this is the reason why Michalski has returned to Rovers.

I agree. It's a risk I personally wouldn't take. -

As yet there is no charge for collection. It is.my preferred method and except for the cup match at Stockport I have done it for every away game so far. -

There is an option when ordering online to collect them from Ewood or have them posted to you. In some instances you can collect them from the away ground where we are playing but I've never done that. -

I used this business on Darwen Market. Excellent service and price but he wasn't particularly quick. https://darwentowncentre.co.uk/project/percivalpictures/ -
I went to my granddaughters sports day in July and noticed this young lad running in the 400 metres. His physique and athleticism struck me immediately. He was also in the high jump and his technique was excellent. I asked my granddaughter what he was called and she told me it was Harvey Higgins and he was on with Rovers. I saw him play as a substitute in an under 17 game at Man City a few weeks ago and he certainly looks the part. Another Rovers fan also she told me.

I've read that garlic sales have gone through the roof in Bermodsey just in case he is playing. And the Millwall players will bathe in holy water before the game. However reports of stakes being bought is thought to be wide of the mark. 😂

I have this on my living room wall. It a limited edition print entitled The Blackburn End circa 1987. I also have lots of prints in the loft along with other memorabilia. -
If they accept his guilt they could respond today or tomorrow. I honestly can't see why they would wait until Monday in the face of overwhelming evidence.
-
Good. Now hammer the animal.
-
I honestly don't know what the delay can be. There aren't even reports that he has been charged yet despite them having enough evidence from the footage and stills.
-
Agreed. The 'logic' behind this says that an IDFK in the penalty area is too severe a punishment so they settled on a corner or throw in. It's typical of some of these trials whereby they haven't been thought through. That said I was involved in the trial where dissent was punished by moving the ball ten yards further up field like they do in Rugby Union. I invoked it a few times and my feedback to the EFL was that it was more of a deterrent that a caution. They didn't take it any further!

Pears and Toth are the two first team keepers supported by Hilton who is with the first team every match although Eastham has a squad number.. That leaves Barrett, Michalski and Khan. Goddard Honor and Eastham are out on loan.

I mean the volume of matches we have coming up through the four competitors we are in. Mike Sheron likes to rotate often.

https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/september/25/michalski-recalled-from-bamber-bridge-loan/ Nicholas Michalski has been recalled from his loan spell at Bamber Bridge. No reason has been given but I'm guessing that the sheer volume of matches has a bearing on it.

I saw an under 21's match against Palace this season and noticed the referee with his fingers in the air and wondered what it was about. I knew the Delegate on the match and at half time I asked him what it was about and he explained although he didn't mention the option of a throw in or corner. I actually said to him (and he agreed) that this is already covered in Law but hasn't been rigidly enforced and as with most things in football it is only addressed when it goes to extremes. I can't see this trial become enshrined in Law.

It would mean for me that he has got away with a vile act and there hasn't been a deterrent. The worry for me now is that nothing has been said either way.
-
If he isn't charged by the FA it just sends out the wrong message. Whilst not entirely conclusive his guilt is beyond reasonable doubt given the evidence. If it went to the police I'm pretty sure they would be happy enough to charge him given the evidence but as you say let's see what happens with the FA first.
-
I'm hoping that the FA's own timescales aren't applied due to the unusual circumstances. But as ever with the FA you just don't know.

Taking my Rovers had off it's as crystal clear when he has done but the FA have to abide by their own regulations however open ended they are. https://www.google.co.uk/url?q=https://www.thefa.com/~/media/Files/TheFAPortal/governance-docs/rules-of-the-association/schedule-a-to-d---standard-directions.ashx&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjSw8nPyN2IAxWGaEEAHXXhIPgQFnoECAMQAg&usg=AOvVaw0OnH-_kOG8gdl3MpL3aA7W

According to the process in the FA regulations any allegations of unseen incidents of violent conduct in games played on a Saturday or Sunday are investigated and the player concerned should be charged by 6 pm on the Tuesday if there is a case to answer. Having read this I'm starting to think that Nobbers Transylvanian international has got off with it. If there is a case to answer a three man panel are asked for their opinion and the punishment is decided from there.

Rovers under 21's are playing Vampire North End in the Premier League Cup on Monday 30th at Victory Park, Chorley. For anybody interested the details are below.

Despite all that experience in the team Matty Litherland is captain. He is one for the future.
