If there were no departures and a really decent striker came in in January I'd be happy with that. Obviously it seems inevitable that Pickering and Gueye will be leaving so ideally you'd want them replacing in some form or other as well. I certainly wouldn't shed any tears if we could offload Kargbo either.

Great point. Boro were really poor second half. Pears, Baradji, Litherland and Cantwell very good. Despite the latter being bandaged up like The Mummy. We saw where we have the most problems - up front.

I've heard it all now. He didnt get beaten, the guy hit the outside of the post. If you were being pedantic you could say Pears got his angles exactly right. I think Pears has been excellent so far today his positioning has been spot on throughout. Hope it continues in the second half, we're likely to need it.

Be quite interesting to see Baradji for a full half. Moreshita did nowt. Quite a good half from us after the first few mins but they cut through us like butter when they're on the attack. We'll do well to keep this to 0-0.
