  1. Strange post. We've been dropping points despite playing (on the whole) some very nice football this season. We've finally turned someone over, as we've been threatening to do. There's as much reason for optimism as there is pessimism at this moment in time, whilst the team is settling and gelling.
  2. We played well and made them look awful in doing so.
  3. Was a goal out, but I’ll take it. Lets hope I’m right on the bottom bit.
  4. Only fair to mention that Dolan was better today, as he was at Coventry also. Nobody enjoys seeing one of our own players struggling, so good to see the improvement.
  5. I think Brittain at LB, playing the inverted role and a fit Ennis up top and that is a very strong side for this level.
  6. Disagree - two well worked goals from our perspective. We’ve also been solid enough at the back. Very good first half.
  7. Wahlsted, Tronstad, Hill and Sigurdsson all having very good halves. Maybe the summer window wasn’t as bad as we like to make out, after all.
  8. What would be the point in lying? Hill and Trondstad have been very good this half. Well taken goals, Siggy scoring again 👍🏻
  9. That’s the spirit 🙄
  10. Get the fuck in. About time the results started following the performances. Lets really turn them over now.
  11. Result to come with the performance this time. QPR 0 v 3 Rovers. Start of a run of form.
  12. I don't think he will. I think results will start to follow the performances, starting at QPR.
  13. Coventry have been poor because we’ve made them look poor. Lets not be kidding ourselves.
  14. Yep, even a half competent striker in that side scores at least 2 in that half alone. We do play some nice football, and have done all season. Missed chances and conceding daft goals has been the story so far. But I’ll remain optimistic. I predicted we’d dick these before KO, not seen anything to change my mind.
  15. Moran was hit in the bollocks - not sure what’s that’s got to do with training 🤣 Anyway, very good first half. Dolan surprisingly good, Wharton looked better. Hill looked decent and Brittain again really good. Once again, we need to make it count, but the game is ours to win. Also Wahlstedt not being Pears is an immediate upgrade.
  16. Whilst you're not wrong, I don't think there's any disputing that we've played well in the vast majority of those games. Results are the important bit, but we can't ignore the performances.
  17. We've been playing well and due to turn somebody over. It'll be tomorrow. Rovers 4-0 Coventry.
  18. Be surprised if he'd be interested in Rangers. If he holds out for another few months, a couple of Prem jobs will become available.
  19. Genuinely, who has this opinion? I've not seen it anywhere. JDT has done a very good job for us so far, but he absolutely has flaws. If he didn't, he'd be managing at a much higher level that the Championship. Haven't seen a single Rovers fan suggest that he can 'do no wrong'?
  20. We won’t be in a relegation fight this season and I’d be happy to wager £200 on it, if you fancy it?
  21. Absolutely no point in taking notice of the table at this stage - Preston are at the top end, for example. It’ll level out, as it always does. Our performances have been mostly good so far, the results will catch up once we start cutting out the soft goals.
  22. Disappointing to be behind, obviously, but some really encouraging play so far today. First one was a soft one to concede from a corner, but I think we’ve got at least another goal in us. Moran and Sigurdsson are very good additions and think most have done well so far. I’d shove Gilsenan on at some point, the unknown factor would work in our favour.
  23. Glad to see Markanday stay in the team after midweek. Shame about Pears. Should be a good game, let’s hope we don’t gift daft goals yet again…
