  1. Shambles of a start to this second half.
  2. Defensive shambles for the last few mins
  3. We don't half make some poor decisions in the final 3rd.
  4. We're going to need to some big performances from the lads tonight. Seeing Gallagher and Morton line up however, doesn't fill me with much confidence that we'll get them.
  5. Huge game now. Massive pressure on us to get a win. As we always cave in under pressure, can't see anything other than a poor performance and loss.
  6. Only 15mins in on the 3 o'clock games and it's in our hands but we are down to 8th at the moment. Pressure is on to get back in as far as I'm concerned.
  7. This would be 100% typical of us.
  8. Whatever we're paying for Mola is too much. Him and Hirst have been dreadful uses of the loan market.
  9. We won't make the playoffs, sadly and it's going to hurt like hell. Our remaining fixtures are very tough and we generally don't do the business when the pressure is on. Most likely to fall out of the top 6 and make a "too little, too late" resurgence and fall short.
  10. After screwing up the 2 games over Easter, we've now piled the pressure onto ourselves, a scenario that generally doesn't play out too well for us. Any aspirations for a play off place make this a 100% must win and when you look at the upcoming fixtures, it just reinforces that. I could see another draw 1-1 maybe.
  11. If he suddenly decides he's Billy big bollox after having about 15 good games for us over the last 4 seasons and countless long lay offs, I'll be fuming.
  12. It does seem to happen a lot these days (clubs sacking managers with no replacement lined up) and a lot just go with some of the current coaching staff for the time being or till the end of the season. Leicester hiring someone only on a short term deal "to see what league they're in" is also quite strange. They are 19th but they aren't cut adrift. Leeds and Bournemouth aren't particularly great and could be caught, surely they go and get the best possible manager they can to keep them up. Not sure Dean Smith is that guy either. Feels like they've already accepted relegation.
  13. That's pretty lucky for Dolan then really. If it came down to retrospective action, he'd surely be facing a ban.
  14. Agreed. When I said get him some more minutes in the final games of the season, I was meaning more off the bench (unless he puts in a performance worthy of a start). Yep, the main thing in these final games is picking up as many points as we can.
  15. Seems like the sensible thing to do is to get him more minutes in the remaining games this season, gets him some first team/championship experience, ready to make a bigger impact next season.
  16. Just about clinging onto 6th. We have a game in hand but feels like that kinda thing never works out for us.
  17. His free role works but it also can backfire a bit. He was way out of position for Norwich's second, which pulled other defenders over leaving huge gaps which Norwich gratefully ran into. I agree he might not be as effective if moved but most of his good work comes in the final 3rd and he's not a natural full back. I'd deffo like to see him given a chance in an attacking role.
  18. Great comeback (at last) bigger picture is that we can still be out of the playoffs by 5pm.
  19. I still don't think he's a full back but I appreciate he's been doing well since he came back into the side. Brittain is a better RB imo and JRC is far too slow.
  20. Good to see 3 in the middle, always seems like a problem area. Also great to see Wharton start. I'd have started Brittain as JRC is painfully slow but happy enough with what's out. As always, scoring goals will be the biggest problem.
  21. Ramsdale pulled off two great saves to make sure Arsenal came away with a point.
  22. A lot of clamour for Leonard, and I'd be more than happy to see him involved, but he won't start. He'll be lucky to make the bench.
  23. And they put Lampard in charge of it all 😂
  24. At least we've finally moved on from Ronaldinho....
  25. He did, but then he managed just 4 wins in 20 league games the following season and only managed 8 wins in 32 games overall in his time there. Pretty sure, from memory, he was backed pretty strongly in the summer as well. It's an awful appointment, and if you saw anything of Leeds towards the end of his time there, they were abysmal.
