Shame about Lenihan tbh. He's not the best CB in the league but i think he gets a lot undeserved stick. It now leaves us another body short and more resources need to be found in order to get a replacement in. Another concern is that whoever the potential inbound manager is, and the "vision" the owners and DoF have been pushing haven't been enough to get him to sign on. Unless of course, Boro have just offered a lot more cash.

Like Ainsworth, all his success has been at league one level and then it's been a struggle in the championship. My conern is, is league one his level?

As always, how much influence/power will this DOF actually have? Assuming none/very little but it might take away the transfer side of things away from the management. Didn't Mowbray say that Venus dealt with the transfers mostly when he was here?

Yeah, it's quite astonishing tbh. So many names been flying around, so many different stories about how the process is going. The worrying part for me, are there so many different stories because people don't have a clue, or because people at Rovers are pushing their own agenda's/working independently. For my own sanity, I hope they announce the manager in the next couple of days.
