Good to see us moving for a striker. Don't know anything about him, his goal scoring record (purely looking at numbers) looks a tad underwhelming but hopefully he has more about him than Gallagher.

It's the worst situation for us, again, just like Rothwell last season. He'll be "the model professional" in training so he'll probably get played most weeks but his mind will be focusing on Spain. He's off form as it is and probably stay that way for the rest of the season. He's one of our better players though, so, guessing we need to keep playing him. Also, who could replace him and actually be any good?

We've been crying out for some pace in this squad, great to see that we've (on paper at least) added that.

Sorba could prove to be a good signing if JDT can get the best out of him but if it's a loan without an option to buy, it's mental that we'd take a relegation threatened championship teams player and put him back in form, then send him back in the summer.

I mean, if they really want to get the fans even more on their backs, getting Allardyce in would do it. They really didn't like him there. Not sure if it was the same hierarchy when he was there before but they've already sacked him once. He obviously loves the challenge of a relegation battle but he might think twice about going back.

This is the point that seems to get missed a lot. Not only will they back themselves but the club wanting to sign them in the first place would give them enough initial belief that they would be a success. Better paid and far more likely to have a crack at the prem, it's a no brainer on his part.
