I really hope he doesn't switch to a back 3, largely to accommodate the City loanee. Mowbray struggles to have our back line in any reasonable order as it is without making life even more complicated. -

Be interesting to watch tonight's game. I was thinking after Friday's shambles, whether or not Mowbray has "lost the dressing room" or if maybe some of the players are starting to lose faith in the way Mowbray wants the team to play (answers on a postcard to that) Gallagher really didn't look happy when he trudged off after being subbed and Nyambe can't have been happy with being subbed off two games running and then hung out to dry by his manager. Also, although i didn't see it at the time, Sharpe mentioned that Arma was kicking off when we conceded the second goal. Potentially a bit of disharmony creeping in amongst the players but tonight could be a good indicator of that. -
If he hasn't improved over the last 2 season it because the manager: Likes to throw him under the bus Doesn't believe in formations (this helps no one) Can't organise a defence to save his life Has poor coaching staff Nyambe is a decent right back and under a better manager who actually gives the team some shape, organisation and pays some attention to the defence, he would improve no end.

Nar, I stopped reading those comments a long time ago.

Only a small group of people in India, I would suggest right now.

Phew, only 28 games in! I was getting worried for a few years there. Right, so now he claims we are only just building our "identity" and the last few seasons were just to consolidate our position. This is literally, the slowest build ever. I'm not sure exactly what kind of identity we are trying to build now? We have very little shape, organisation and the players often look like they just met in the car park before kick off.

I see dinosaur Micks Cardiff are 2 up away at Luton and up to 7th as it stands. In fairness Tony "Good football" Mowbray's Rovers do have 2 games in hand but I wouldn't stick a mercer on him using the advantage. -

Yer, we need a couple more defeats so the anger turns to apathy before the magical win happens. -

Who knows what Mowbray will do. There will be something that's not right. He'll either start Gallagher right wing...sigh...or i could see him starting Harwood-Bellis at right back in Nyambe's place, or both 😖 -
John Buckley

How and where would you play him, just out of interest? -

He needs to play regular first team football before he is any use to us. Loan him for the season and see how he gets on. -

Well that's depressing but not unexpected. -

I'd suggest that Waggot, like all the ones that were in his position (or similar) before him have no real power. Its Venkys that call the shots, it just about which agent has their ear at the time. -
Wow. He sounds so down and how many times does he answer with "i don't know" the right at the end just moans he's cold. Bizarre, as you say.

This. The last defence of a manager from fans or the manager himself, blame the players. Under Ince we made mistakes as a team and players made individual mistakes. In comes Allardyce, mistakes are cut out enormously because he had the players organised and each one of them knew what their job was in any situation during a game.

He's now hit Coyle/Ince levels of organisation. We are managed like a pub team. "We'll get Taylor on because he comes to training every week." "Sam, I know you wanna play upfront but you've not paid your subs all season, so you're on the right wing" "Sam, just play right back for a bit, to let Elliott attack. Its his birthday this week, cheers" "Tommy K, you're on throw ins" "Jarrad, I know you're hanging out of your arse but you'll have to start at CB, because you're a lanky streak of piss"
