  1. It seems to be, hoof it up to Arma, who ends up on the left flank. He tries to knock it past the defender and then run past them. He fails, loses possession, rinse, repeat.
  2. Formations? Where we're going, we don't need formations.... Or tactics, or organisation.
  3. Blackburn to win 2-1 @ 8/1 just came up in an advert. @Merceris hastily remortgaging his house as we speak.
  4. Could be 4-3-3 Could be 4-2-3-1 Could be 4-2-2-2 I can't say I'm a fan of the chopping and changing of set ups. I'd prefer the "black and whiteness", as Mowbray put it, of a Leeds Utd, where everyone knows what their job is and where they are playing, as opposed to the football lottery we seem to play.
  5. That is an odd statement, what does he mean by the black and whiteness of Leeds?
  6. Yep, i remember reading an article about it.
  7. Ayala has only made 9 apps so far this season and 1 of those was a sub. 8 starts out 27. Not a great return.
  8. Pretty much got that nailed i think. Back 7 picks itself and Dack and Arma have to start in those positions. So only 2 places up for grabs are the wide positions, I'd start Elliot and BB as you've posted. Mercer is having a laugh with the home banker wind up post, it won't be an easy game, even with their current form.
  9. Yer, i do agree having a goal scorer has obviously benefitted us. We'll lose out on the transfer fee regardless though, which was the point.
  10. Newcastle have played a blinder there. If there is ever concrete premier league interest in him, he'll ask to leave us. He won't give up PL footy (and the wages) to stay with Moggas midtable Rovers. Also gives Newcastle the opportunity to buy him back at a significant knock down fee. Win - win for Newcastle. We lose either way. We won't be able to hold him here against his will, players and agents have the power to move if they want.
  11. It doesn't matter what Everton do or what Southampton do, it doesn't work at Blackburn Rovers. The reason is that Mowbray and his coaches (probably the players too) aren't good enough to set the team up in one of 3/4 different set ups effectively. Which is why often look like a disorganised mess during games.
