  1. So a lot of work to do, never seems to be much urgency at Rovers under Venkys. Worrying times. We haven't even been bothered to stick a statement out about the current manager leaving, chances of us lining up replacements for any of the above, not to mention signings we need, in good time are pretty much slim to none.
  2. But we're not clearing them out, they are leaving of their own accord.
  3. And it's unbelievably obvious, surely? Surely even the loons in Pune can see it, after owning a football club for 12 years! It also failed last time they tried it with Berg.
  4. Better Johnno than Venus.
  5. Latest betting odds on the front runners. Venus is further down at 20/1. That's where my £5 will be going.
  6. This has been my main concern and that has now increased X10 with the news that coaching staff are all still under contract. As always, a strange set up with Venkys.
  7. FFS Lowe, Benson, Venus all need bombing out of the club ASAP. We don't want Venus "running the club" or anything of the sort.
  8. Bloody hell If Farke was genuinely interested, wouldn't even bother interviewing him (or anyone else) just give him the bloody job before he changes his mind!
  9. Sorry, I had to double check that list because it's not great reading. Not that I imagine Skybet have a the first clue who we'd be going for but overall their list isn't great. Certainly doesn't have many names that jump out immediately. Overall list:
  10. Waggot won't be allowed to make a brew without sign off from India. It's a complete shambles of a setup.
  11. Still here but sounds like his contract ends shortly after that game. Venus, for some reasons seems to have a longer one and will be here for a few months more. Totally pointlessly, of course, which is just the Venkys way. Massive concern that Venus tries and succeeds in getting the job. That'll be me done if he does.
  12. Well, that's that then. 3-0 down, at home, play offs mathematically out of reach.
  13. Agreed. Wouldn't matter if I supported Rovers or Sutton Utd, I'd always want the best for the club and as long as it looked like the people in charge were making decisions for the benefit of the club, I'd be happy with that.
  14. Grayson would be a dreadful appointment. Genuinely would stick with Mowbray.
  15. Big ask for us now, although obviously not impossible. All we can do is win both and see what happens. Realistically, it's not going to happen but we knew that ages ago.
  16. Stoke and Preston to play for them. They have a good chance.
  17. Is there any point in replacing Mowbray with either Grayson or Warburton?
  18. Sharpe tweeted that Lamberts departure was announced on 28th April but Coyle wasn't appointed until 2nd June. So, expect this one to drag.
  19. Which is fair enough but you would think they would at least have had a word with Mowbray in private, meaning he didn't need to tell the press he has no idea.
  20. And QPR at least, have had the decency to tell the manager he's off and make an announcement for their fans too. Is it really that difficult for Rovers to do the same?
  21. We will see indeed. But your post said the plan was to get a good, ambitious manager and give them a decent transfer budget, so we can challenge for promotion. That's every Rovers fans dream. But this is Venkys and they don't work like that.
