Sorry, I had to double check that list because it's not great reading. Not that I imagine Skybet have a the first clue who we'd be going for but overall their list isn't great. Certainly doesn't have many names that jump out immediately. Overall list:

Agreed. Wouldn't matter if I supported Rovers or Sutton Utd, I'd always want the best for the club and as long as it looked like the people in charge were making decisions for the benefit of the club, I'd be happy with that.

We will see indeed. But your post said the plan was to get a good, ambitious manager and give them a decent transfer budget, so we can challenge for promotion. That's every Rovers fans dream. But this is Venkys and they don't work like that.
