It was laughable (and very dodgey) on Birmingham’s part to sack Rowett. Seems to me like an agent had some influence bringing Zola in and it backfired spectacularly. Sadly, they still managed to stay up at our expense and now we’re slumming it in league one.

I was looking at it from the point that he’s not been in club management for a fair while and his first job back is a complete basket case of a club. He might turn it round but he’s hardly giving himself a stable environment to get back into it.

As soon as he picked up the injury, I knew it was going to keep him out for a while. A player we really need and it’s just our luck he’s gets badly injured. Gutted.
