  1. Can we include Dolan in the deal? Two conkers and a dead frog would be a fair swap
  2. ........... because the offer is on the table now, not at the end of the season, and he wants it.
  3. Too many ifs and buts Wolves were in 2nd gear most of the time Two wins in 11 or 12 (?) matches speaks for our "mentality"
  4. Come off it - there's loads of posts on social media of Liverpool fans going berserk at today's result "Happy to be out of the cup" Eddie.
  5. And we've no chance of getting in the play-offs - we're in a false position, we're not good enough, it's not going to happen. There is an argument too that winning today would have given the players a huge confidence boost for the last 15 games of the season. Excitement! As is stands, they're probably down in the dumps again after another loss. Of course getting to the final is unlikely but that's not the point. These are one-off games and anything can happen and a cup run creates a wonderful feel-good factor and excitement - that word again. Plymouth fans will be in delirium now. I wonder how Liverpool fans are feeling now and will be "happy to be out of the cup"? "Happy to be out of the cup". No true football fans would want their team to lose any game It will be your epitaph
  6. I loved the excitement of Cardiff under Souness and the great cup runs under Hughes. Fantastic days. "Happy to be out of the cup". Idiotic
  7. Maybe, maybe not. He might have come here hoping it would change, but in reality it was unworkable and far worse than he ever imagined it to be. The worst part is the message it sends out round the game to other prospective (decent) managers - that the club does not function properly and should be avoided
  8. Plymouth 1 Liverpool 0 That's the way to do it
  9. Maybe he was told the lies you're accusing him of
  10. Other jobs will come up obviously but he fancies Derby for a number of reasons and the offer is on the table now - not the end of the season
  11. Bottom club Plymouth 13 minutes away from beating Liverpool. Shows what's possible when you put the effort in.
  12. More garbage on a par with "happy to out of the cup" You clearly don't understand how football works - there is no loyalty and any player or manager will move if a better opportunity presents itself. Eustace is ambitious but in 12 months has clearly worked out the club is dysfunctional and lacking ambition A better opportunity has come up. Why wouldn't he go? I'll be sorry to see him go but it hasn't all been milk and honey with him. The team has been hard to watch this season and he's leaving us in freefall in the league
  13. Is it too much to ask a manager being paid £1 million a year or thereabouts to buy a home and live in the area? Families move around all the time in other walks of life so why should football be any different? It's on record that Eustace put his name in the hat for the Coventry and West Brom jobs. This time Derby are offering him a job. He wants to go. Today was his last game it seems to me
  14. It doesn't work like that unfortunately Derby are offering him the job now - not at the end of the season If he fancies it (for whatever reason) he'll go
  15. To be fair I thought Buckley had a good game and JRC made mistakes but got better as the game went on. Still a very decent player at this level when he's in form and playing with confidence
  16. We're not making the play-offs - it's not going to happen. The cup offers the chance of making the last 8 or going further and sight of Wembley, and it makes the season exciting for players and fans Ask the Rovers players if they're "happy to be out of the cup". It's a ridiculous thing to say
  17. Why would anyone be "happy to be out of the cup" A ridiculous statement
  18. Routine for Wolves, at a canter. They didn't need to try very hard, and would have won by more except for poor finishing Rovers scored a decent early goal that should have stood but apart from that what did we offer? Very little. A few crosses that were easily dealt with, a couple of decent shots, but none that troubled the keeper. Where was the desire and pressure and momentum in the second half to try to get back into that game? A depressingly low (and depressed) home support made it all so predictable and familiar.
  19. You are aware that could be his last game with us?
  20. This is poor, no raising the pace or the pressure, no momentum, no sign of us wanting to save the game
  21. Dennis clearly not match fit but unlike Gueye looks a proper centre forward. Forest will be pleased when we hand him back a better player
  22. Bad decision for Hyam but that’s the way it goes. Wolves have hardly broken sweat yet 2-0 up.
  23. Routine for Wolves Pitiful attendance by our fans - sad to see
