  1. There's also the Covid factor. There's many people who have found other things to do with their time over the past 18 months, which will affect clubs such as Rovers with a smaller fanbase. Couple that with the disappointing results, lack of marquee signings and the general feeling of malaise around the club resulting from the training ground sale and the state of the ground, and it's no surprise attendances have slumped.
  2. Brereton did not play well He gave the ball away more often than not, passed to an opposition player most of the time, got knocked off the ball too easily, still can't play with his back to goal and his first touch is awful Good goal but it came in a sea of mediocrity 4/10
  3. Strange game. Hull dominated from start to finish apart from a 15 minute spell when we scored 2 goals If we're honest 7th place flatters us
  4. Apart from a 15 minute purple patch by Rovers, Hull have dominated this match
  5. How many times does Brereton either lose the ball or pass to an opposition player?
  6. Can we throw away another 2-0?
  7. Step up Diaz! Brereton subbed at half time
  8. Good header! Now let's get another
  9. Lenihan did one of his famous 60-yard "diagonals" that Brereton should have got on the end of
  10. Blimey, that was poor. We're fortunate to be 0-0. Midfield non-existent. Bring back Jason Lowe
  11. We're being outplayed by Hull City
  12. Romania claiming her as "our Emma" today😄. Lots of factors here...... was it in fact a final between 2 Canadians? Does nationality matter and should we just be celebrating a sporting achievement? Young women making a breakthrough as a teenager isn't unusual. Hingis and Sharapova were younger than Radacacu, and Hingis had retired from the game by 22 because of injury. Emma has to be careful I notice Nigel Farage has joined in the congratulations He's obviously changed his mind about the choice of neighbours https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/may/19/nigel-farage-next-door-romanians-ukip
  13. I wish Tony would be honest with the fans, and the club, and himself Honest that he's taken the club as far as he can, honest that he can't do any more and put the club before himself and be honest that the club needs new direction Picking up a huge wage under no pressure from the owners isn't being honest.
  14. The problem is, the Rovers detractors will always say "we bought the title" to belittle our achievement. They still do it. It's ignorant and it's wrong and a "town" team will probably never win the title again, but it's something we have to live with. Some would say in the modern era Leicester's title win was a bigger thing. There's not many moments in sport these days when something makes you sit up and jump out of your seat. Last night was one. And it's not just the fact she's British - the girl has stardust. I just hope she stays grounded. The media over-the-top hype has started already
  15. Wow, wow, wow. What a talent. A genuine superstar.
  16. You are jesting, of course
  17. A superb player in his pomp, a good lad and not a minute's trouble and a devoted Rover Lost a yard or two of pace as you'd expect in his final years and some people had a downer on him which he didn't deserve. I remember a match at Bolton in which the overweight and ineffectual Benni McCarthy was giving Pedersen all sorts of stick. Lots of players would have chinned McCarthy but Pedersen just took it Hope he's doing well and making the most of the money he made in the game
  18. Mid-table team draws at home with another mid table team Where's the surprise? And so it goes on
  19. Disappointing because it’s been a great series but England will be happy to take the 2-2 as India were quite likely to have won again. England still have many problems unresolved with the Ashes looming
  20. Yes, Grealish in the centre all the time. I don't see what Mount has to offer to be honest
  21. All these "world class" players who are never quite good enough to win anything Club class is a better description
  22. Really? England 1970 was arguably better than the 1966 team but that's a pretty strong statement
  23. I don't get Mason Mount. Will someone explain ?
  24. The run chase was never on for England; it was always a question of survival. But on a perfect day for batting and a good batting pitch this is a poor effort even by England's low standards
  25. Another predictable England batting collapse All over before tea?
