Agree after the first half shambles
-
Do we deserve this ? Who cares - come on the 3rd division crocks and get that winner !
-
After an awful first 45 expect to see a better second half. We might pull one back but the damage has been done.

Wigan winning at Stoke.

3rd division team now on the pitch ....... with 4th division subs bench
-
Hurrah for Adam !

Raya is capable of a howler at any time. Classic Rovers at the moment - Reading haven't won a point before tonight
-
I'd take a 1-0. Draw most likely unless Reading really are useless
-
Blackburn: Raya, Nyambe, Smallwood, Armstrong, Rothwell, Graham, Mulgrew, Bell, Lenihan, Evans, Bennett, The above is a League One line-up and highlights the failure to sign at least 4 desperately needed better players in the transfer window
-
Victory tonight would put us in the top 6 if other results go our way. So while beating Reading is not a "must-win" it's would be a big confidence boost for players and fans to see us so high in the table this early in the season.

Unless it's a on a pay-if-you-play-basis there absolutely no point because Chapman will continue to keep breaking down.

Lancashire fell short by 6 runs - not quite good enough again. There's nothing new with England batting failures - it been going on for years. How many times have England been 70 - 3 (or worse) and had to be bailed out by the middle order ? I don't know what the answer is. Many players they've tried have obvious technical faults, while others do not seem to have the temperament for test cricket. And it makes no sense to keep recalling players such as Jennings who have failed time and again.

Sentence 2 is a non-sequitur. The lack of transfer activity seems to be getting to you. Calm down before using words like "pathetic".
-
Agree with the above. I was merely questioning your very odd original post.
-
So to sum up, you fear we might be overpaying for Brereton at £7m-8m or whatever because no one else seems interested in him but you don't want us to lose signing him if someone else did show an interest and offered more money ? Illogical Mr Spock.
-
Maybe they think he's not quite good enough for them ? On the other hand if he is that highly regarded it's surprising a lesser PL club hasn't come in for him. Rovers are damned if they do sign him and damned if they don't sign him with this player. As you say, £8m is nothing these days but to Venky-run Rovers it's an aboslute fortune and we can't afford to get it wrong.
-
What's "pathetic" about the below ? Would you rather we were in a bidding war for him and lose out because we can't pay the price?
-
It;s rather like a house - which is only worth what someone is willing to pay unless there are two interested parties competing with each other Would you rather we were in a bidding war for him and lose out because we can't pay the price? Odd post.

Ground looks too big. I think it might be Old Trafford. RIP to a very fine player. Gentleman footballer, like Ronnie. They don't make them like Jimmy McIlroy any more.
-
Or Lawrence. Pretty safe bet I'd say.
-
Agree Gav. If what Stokes was involved in wasn't affray as it is legally defined, what is ? Lancs well beaten tonight.
-
Let's see if he scores any goals in the Championship first
-
Dack's 2nd goal v Carlisle was Premier League quality. The way he received the ball, dragged it into space and planted the ball in the back of the net around the goaslkeeper in 2 touches and in the blink of an eye was right out of the top drawer. I still think he might struggle with the pace of the PL (and he's still unproven in the Championship) but more goals like that and if he continues to progress then we won't be able to keep hold of him for long. Unless we get promoted to the PL in the meantime of course?
