  1. He hasnt been at the club for 2 games. Last season you made a judgement pretty early. Later in his Rovers career you are being evasive, just a simple question. What are your thoughts on Ismael? Why will we get better? Im not sure why it is "looking like" we will finish in mid table. The transition line is another parroted one, more a season of losing loads of key players.
  2. But we didnt win 1 nil. What sort of argument is it to suggest that my reaction would have been different had the game been a totally different result. I am not sure why suggesting that Kargbo is just an athlete is so controversial. The fact that you keep resorting to telling me to stop moaning suggests that you dont have anything constructive to say. Im not sure we had any "great" chances. The goal we did score was barely a half chance, just a fantastic strike from nowhere.
  3. He didnt do anything of note in an attacking sense. If that is him showing what he can do then he cant do much. All I have seen from him in a Rovers shirt is an athlete with not very much ability or intelligence.
  4. My issue has never been the manager not being "open and honest." You have made that up. His comments blaming his staff in my opinion seem a bit ill advised and are the comments of a manager shirking responsibility. Mind you, my issue with Ismael is that I dont think that he is a good manager, very little to suggest he is. Where do you stand on him? You wanted him sacked at one stage. Do you have any doubts that he is the man for the job? Admittedly a difficult job working with poor players.
  5. What would a 1 or 2 out of 10 require the players to do?
  6. Our attackers didnt do anything. Your standards are so low. You speak as if we were away to a Premier League team.
  7. Elliott Jackson gave 6 of our starting 11 an 8 out of 10 mark. Only Tavares failed to get above "par" and he played major roles in the concession of both goals. Talk about low standards.
  8. In what way did Kargbo show what he is about?
  9. Coaches. Travis. Brittain. And yes. I know that you think its great how "open and honest" he is.
  10. Ismael is the one with the final say on tactics. Also not a good luck to just pass the buck. Ismael has in the space of 7 or 8 games gone from you wanting him out to him not being allowed to be questioned.
  11. Why is he blaming coach staff for mistakes around set pieces? He is the one that is responsible for making final decisions.
  12. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25395668.blackburn-rovers-boss-terrible-mistakes-vs-birmingham/ Rarely do you see a manager blame not just the players but even the coaching staff. A leader that seems very happy to blame others and throw them under the bus.
  13. I suspect we are going to have quite a few games like today where we cry the "unlucky" card but its a game we have thrown away. Dont agree that we "deserved" the win in the first place. Tavares was being hailed as a replacement and potential improvement on Travis. Showed clear immaturity, I dont think we do lose with Travis playing instead. We thought that discussion about Travis and contracts were allowed post match. Clearly not. At least they got club mole privy to say he refused to play to try and get fans to turn on him. Probably will work. Its going to be a long season
  14. I couldnt say the exact amount that we would need to pay. I just know that our inability to offer competitive contracts is decimating our squad of quality and sooner or later that leads to one thing and it isnt good.
  15. I think rock bottom will be Sheffield Wednesday, especially with an inevitable points deduction. I certainly dont see an obvious 8 worse squad and manager combinations though especially once Travis and maybe even Tronstad and Hyam leave.
  16. The only alternative to what we are doing isnt to be "wreckless." There is a middle ground. Similar to Suhail trying to defend our unwillingness to reinvest by saying that spending loads doesnt guarantee you anything. Its not a defence to give an extreme opposite scenario to justify quite how unwilling we are to offer competitive wages and/or justify quite how little we reinvest.
  17. Above what we are offering hence why our players are happy to move to clubs who finished below us in the table.
  18. I must have missed a CEO being appointed. Wouldn't be a surprise to be fair if we ever do appoint one for him to take the flak at these meetings whilst snaky Suhail avoids any fan interaction and just silently continues to do Venkys work and destroy the club. You seem quite invested so presumably you have read the previous minutes.
  19. Is it the right approach to shut down certain questions by the club? Not good "stakeholder communication." Ismael said today we are no closer. Unless hes...lying?
  20. We dont pay average wages, never mind big wages. My point was that I would rather be worrying that the quality Championship attacker we just signed on top of a series of other proven Championship players was perhaps overpriced a tad, rather than whether a rag tag of random players from lesser leagues can capably replace the proven Championship players we are culling.
  21. These examples are totally missing the point. There are plenty of isolated examples of players running down their contracts. We cant get ANY of our better players to sign new deals. Some arent even being actively courter by other teams. Also, selling players again is natural to clubs higher in the food chain. All the clubs you mention reinvested decent chunks on replacements.
  22. If we do sign a player who will potentially be out for months injured to replace our captain then even for us that would be ridiculous.
  23. What happened to good communication with key stakeholders?
  24. No wonder its taking them so long to find someone worse!
