https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64332378 PNE lose over £16m. Very good analysis from Kevin MacGuire on the challenges facing clubs like us and PNE. Sobering stuff. -

It's poor stuff isn't it, but I was expecting a lot worse this season. The get out of this league we need a huge slice of luck by managing to sign an outstanding manager / coach and so far that doesn't look to be the case. -

Poor stuff even for you Mercer. Also worth noting the improvements JDT has made in the performance levels of some of our squad. -

I would put Morton ahead of Buckley technically and in terms of attitude. A Wharton is too young to know. Maybe some time out of the team will help get Travis to focus and raise his game, just as it did for JRC. I feel we need an experienced ball winner in the middle though. -

Some better decision-making in the final third, from Gallagher's first chance, across the front players, plenty of great situations not taken. We could have put the game to bed at half time if we'd converted our overall play and pressure into goals. Not sure Sky are the arbiters of truth either. -

Not from my viewpoint, close the Darwen End, first half. We had far more of the ball and controlled the game - they got a couple of breaks, due in part, to poor passing from us. Manners next time big boy. -

I also own a season ticket that is not used too often, for reasons similar to these, but I'm not sure have much is JDT's fault and much it's the longterm decline of the club taking its toll. Also, I'm 60 this year and just don't get the same buzz from football anymore. That said I made the 45 minutes drive to Ewood and nearly enjoyed myself. Don't give up! -

We could have won this by half-time - at a stroll. Three games in quick succession, a heavy pitch and 12noon kick off didn't help much today. The atmosphere was flat and they didn't have any brown sauce. That said we defended well, kept the ball better than we have done and we were quicker to the tackle than Cardiff. I didn't really get this boring tag - I had to move today because some fall was moaning when we were playing it around the back trying to create space. As already said we need a goalscorer more than anything - or a change of fortune for our front players, and a maybe a ball-winner in midfield. No wine today, I've had my fill. -

I might say that some of the players need to take responsibility too. BBD, Gallagher, Buckley and Morton were all very poor. -
