  1. The Undr the Cosh podcast is a real eyeopener to the use of alcohol in football, including many of our ex-players and the alcohol-drenched culture that is all too prevalent in this country has so many victims, including many close to us on this forum. Booze is a dangerous drug and should be treated carefully.
  2. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12359088/keith-treacy-on-the-alcohol-addiction-that-ended-his-career-at-26-and-wanting-to-help-others-avoid-his-mistakes Terrible story.
  3. I think the grounds for optimism are very thin on the ground - the absentee owners, the under-performing management team, the financial structure of the EPL, the weak squad and a ground that far too big for us.
  4. Covid and Brexit are disrupting supply chains across all industries.
  5. Considering the latest financial losses, I'm not sure anything we do is ever going to get us out of this shit show.
  6. Not sure why the LT would lie. Not sure anything in this makes much sense.
  7. Can the mods advise me, where I can comment on the booing of England players before the matches. I've tried hard, but my posts have been deleted without explanation.
  8. I wonder why you think, with the team we have that we might start well. And what's a face creamer?
  9. Well that explains a few of the performances then.
  10. I'm not sure if there's much to disagree with him though. I want a new manager BTW
  11. I'm the same age as TM, so I'm wondering about accusations of senility.
  12. TM did seem under a lot of pressure towards the end of the new year death spiral. Cheered up in the last couple of weeks. Maybe the danger has passed.
  13. I wonder if anyone thinks Coyle would have got us out of L2, or indeed Kean for that matter.
  14. I just think TM is at the edges of his abilities, and not in the same category as Kean or Coyle. I don't live in the town so have no idea how he is seen by the ordinary fans. I'm also not as close to others in terms of how the club is run, but I sometimes wonder if the Venkys cash is as much a hindrance as a help.
