That midfield is horribly poor. All graft and no craft. Trippier at left back isn’t working. We aren’t playing well, to say the least.

I remember him making his debut for Blackpool in the PL against us at Bloomfield Road, he came off the bench and scored almost right away. Always been a good player at this level though.

Glad we’ve made a signing, think it’s a bit of hullabaloo for someone not intended for the first team immediately though, maybe that’s just me! I’d hope there’s a plan to get some of these under 23s in the first team though, as we seem to have signed a few that have gone quiet in recent times. I find it a bit weird to sign players to play for the reserves essentially. Again, maybe that’s just me.

To be fair, squad numbers don’t mean as much these days. Trent Alexander-Arnold is still number 66 for Liverpool, and I’d be astounded if he still wasn’t first choice....

I can see how this will play out- guesswork from him, then when it doesn’t happen and he is questioned, he blocks whoever questions him. Why people still bombard him on Twitter is beyond me.
