I can’t comment on Brereton’s performances in pre season or the season so far, as I haven’t seen any of our games yet (for shame, I know). But, it seems like we are stuck with him so he needs to make it and we need him to. At what point we cut our losses is anyone’s guess. What I don’t agree with though is playing him over better players for the sake of it. Brereton isn’t bigger than Blackburn Rovers FC and if he has to be start at the expense of better players in his position, then that’s totally counter productive.
