Would be well up for us signing David Marshall. Experienced, knows the league, been around the block etc. Don’t know enough about these other lads to make a comment tbh.

Been a while since I heard the dossier mentioned! Vintage BRFCS.

Worst Rovers signing ever?

A girl I was seeing was watching The Real Housewives of Cheshire. The size of his gaff is absolutely sickening for how shite he was at football.... -

Wasn’t that Glen Mullan that recommended we sign Rhodes, or am I imagining that? -
As another poster has alluded to, if they ran the club properly, they probably wouldn’t have had to pay that much out. They aren’t philanthropic, they are absolutely disastrous.

Bradley Orr, Herald Goulon, Danny Murphy, Kevin Davies, Barry Ferguson... -
They own the club. Covering any finances falls on them, it’s not complicated. We are only in this situation because of actions they have taken. The buck stops with them.
-
I’m also delighted they are doing the bare minimum expected of them as owners of the club....
-
I can’t imagine it would, tbh. His numbers aren’t all that good really. I’m sure Thomas Frank will improve him though, like he has with Ollie Watkins and others, for example.
-
You’re right. He hasn’t learned enough from Richie Smallwood yet. He will have to get some Zoom training sessions in with him before the new season.....
-
The difference being, those players are/were some of the best on the planet, being managed by one of the best on the planet. Sam Gallagher is nowhere near that category. Don’t get me wrong, if he had the attributes to play on the wing (good at crossing, quick), I could see the logic, but he doesn’t, so I can’t.
-
He’s been there before tbh, file under £50 Million war chest....
-
Come on now, you’re better than that. You’re muddying the waters by inferring that I believe the posters in questions are lying. That’s nothing like what I was saying and you know it. I was saying that people shouldn’t hang on the word of someone they’ve ever met that posts on an online forum.
-
I expect Mowbray will continue to annoy by playing players out of position.....
-
I meant personally, don’t be so sensitive ?.

To be fair, we don’t know any of these people from Adam, so they could well be posting duff information. As much as any of us might want these things to be true, there’s a chance they might not be....

Championship Season 2020 - 2021
K-Hod replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Do you not reckon promotion should trump all of those things though? It’s a big risk to get a rookie in over someone who’s been there, done that and obtained the t-shirt.... Again, just because the Bristol City board want something, doesn’t mean it’s the right or most logical thing.... -
As that very famous reggae singer once said ‘you can’t please all the people all of the time’. Covid has affected every football club, not just ours. Lesser clubs have managed to get their act together, but we are just hanging about seemingly. If you think they’ve done enough, then fair one, but I think they could be doing more really.
-
Disconnection with the supporter base, through a lack of engagement? From a purely financial point of view, it seems crazy that if you’ve got fans that are willing to pay money, why on earth wouldn’t the club want to take it?
-
I suppose what I’m saying from a personal point of view is that I’d be willing to pay for a full season ticket (imagine crowds were allowed as normal), then use a streaming link while it is still behind closed doors. Then there could be tiers of what fans could choose- I.E a streaming one for now, or no streams and then when fans are allowed in, to be able to attend matches. (With different costs, obviously).
-
I’ve no genuine sympathy for them on account of how their fans have been with us in the past, but they’ve every right to feel aggrieved with their deduction applying this season and Sheffield Wednesday’s being applied next....
-
Missed opportunity for the club is this. I’d sign up for a season ticket tomorrow if it meant helping the club out, regardless of how many matches I was ultimately able to attend and many others are the same.
-
Not good that the DW gyms have gone. I hadn’t actually managed to get to mine since I threatened to! I’ve just moved house, so I might try and find one nearer here....
-
But if we’d spent less on transfer fees, then we could maybe make an allowance on the wages?
-
Would be easier to compete if we hadn’t waxed £12 Million on Gallagher and Brereton....
