My main concern was in January, we were in a great position to kick on, yet Mowbray said ‘we had enough in the squad’. When we let defenders out on loan and relied on defenders with chequered injury records. So many said that was a bad idea. Nobody was saying we should be going up, or we’re entitled to, or anything like that. Only that, we could have done better. Not to mention strange team selections, playing players out of position to accommodate weaker players and some horrendous defending, shipping late goals and a truly wretched away record. McLaren got sacked for having a similar record to Mowbray, so let’s not pretend our fans are unique, mental, or unreasonable, because we aren’t.

Just read an article about Ken Anderson online, saying ‘interested parties simply didn’t have the funds’. Coming from a man with experience!

There's no opinion about it, Reed is (or was) quite clearly the most talented central midfielder at the club. It's just a shame that our manager decided not to play him there for most of the season, instead mostly playing inferior players there....

If pointing out that choosing two superior central midfielders has led to us to our only two wins in our last twelve is negative rhetoric, then fair enough. I just think the above and other observations are people expressing frustration at the same mistakes happening time and again.

We wouldn’t though, would we? People were annoyed because we made the same mistakes time and again and they weren’t rectified. As would happen at any other football club. It’s not complicated.

The two games we've won in the last twelve or whatever it is, have been when Reed and Travis have started in midfield. Seems like that's some sort of coincidence though....

This is where he doesn't help himself. The last paragraph in particular though, is especially damning.

Literally nobody said anything like 'we won, damn' or any derivative thereof. Like all Rovers fans, I was delighted we won and still am. After the horrendous run we've been on, we start with our two strongest central midfielders in central midfield and look what happens, we play really well and beat a team above us in the league. As if by magic. People are frustrated and quite rightly so that this team hasn't been picked more often, as who knows how well we could have done this season?
