At the end of the day 3 points is all that mattered. yes Rovers were a bit huff and puff but if Graham had scored after 45 seconds it might have been so much different. The problem is as we have seen this season if you miss easy chances you sometimes get punished, case in point being Ipswich, reading, millwall, derby to some extent when Dack somehow missed a sitter! Also, you have to ride your luck, qpr were awfully poor, time wasters and not a real threat as they had settled for a point to take back down south in the most shocking of away kit colours I have seen since the Coventry brown Kean stained shirt! I was hoping Rovers could get to 25 points before the end of December, they have smashed that hopeful target and must now seek to beat Rotherham to make it a good start to this month. Rovers have very little to be worried about, it’s about just how far we can go this season?

WBA VS ROVERS - SAT 27TH
1864roverite replied to Dreams of 1995's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Heroic performance I was in London keeping tabs. Seems a Rovers 10 with utter 100% backbone on the pitch, heroes to a man. On my way home i had the pleasure of 6 drunk wiggon fans on their long way back from Sheffield, somehow they had ended up a Warrington and got on our train. Their comments about Rovers were comical so having let them have it verbal wise their naught 40 plus sixsome headed off home ! Would have taken a point all day long. -

Rovers simply opened up through the middle as they allowed Swansea to overrun the midfield. My view is that TM should have reverted to a 3 man defence to counter the extra man in midfield. As a side issue a worldly save stopped us from drawing level then 20 seconds later we concede the 3rd and it was game over. huge credit to the fans who made the horrendous midweek trek to South Wales ??? -

Would take a point from this game. Tough choice drive to Swansea or go to Wembley in 3 weeks to the England game ? -
This is the kind of result that emphasises just how much BRFC has been turned around by TM and his staff and one which our stay away supporters should take note of. If anything it serves as a positive advert for a reason for them to come back and support the team in the flesh. todays effort was a great team effort, from front to back they all played their part, for the shirt, the club, the fans and themselves. The team spirit shines through like a beacon of light and cannot be underestimated. This team can take us further and I believe the spirit within the team is what will drive them and us up the league. Dare to Dream? Under Mowbray we might just complete the complete resurrection back to the promised land.

Leeds showed they can a dodgy team with the recent games esp v brum. If Rovers sit back and invite Leeds on the front foot they will crucify us on the other hand brum showed if you go at the they are vulnerable Brentford should have put them well away and laid the price for missing so many chances, Rovers have to take them when and if they come along.

Like it or not this is the world BRFC is operating, find a gem, develop and sell for huge profit. We as fans have to accept that. I think he will go in January especially if he continues the fine form he is in. Brereton is not the player to replace him in this position and I think TM will have his eyes on another gem as a replacement.

I tried to add a response at Naples airport however the WiFi is typically crud! there is no pleasing some Rovers fans and some talk an absolute load of tripe! Over the past 12 months we have seen a solid rebuild, promotion and the squad being assembled that should bear fruit in the future and the club is on a sound footing YET some on here are unhappy. We are just 8 or 9 weeks into a new season, we have a 24 match unbeaten home record and we have just drawn against a big spending massive club in Aston Villa. We didn’t lose we got a point ffs! Yes we are a little miffed at conceding a 94th minute equaliser BUT get on with it, we move on to Derby. The whiners on here are the reason why many members don’t bother commenting or even coming on here at all. This is Brfc 2018!

I know how you feel. Op number 9 coming up on my knee in 3 weeks!

90 mins to go till the final whistle?

There nothing but silence as this the way the Club does its business these days

What is evidently clear is that there is some common sense decision making going on behind the scenes. Having settled proper footballing staff in place is helping to stabilise the club, get it on the right footing which is paying dividends on and off the pitch. The Rovers public now need to do their bit and join in because we are seeing a huge wave of positivity at the club and the team ethic on that park is as good if not better than when we won the Premiership. We Owe a huge thanks to TM and his staff who have worked a miracle in ridding the ghosts of Keanscum and Coyle and the self righteous scum that had riddled our club from top to bottom for 7 years bringing it to its knees and destroying the great and good name of BRFC

I think Rovers may well pay off Whittingham and let him move on for free.

Rovers fans are never happy with their lot! Always finding something to whine and whinge about. On the back of a successful return to the Championship we sit in5th spot unbeaten with a healthy squad who wear the shirt with pride. Couple this with the lot that have gone before and who screwed the club rotten and there is a huge difference in atmosphere. This is BRFC 2018: a complete rebuild of the club and it’s looking rosey - red rosey in fact. Some need to lose the negativity and get behind the club 100%. Stop whining your sounding like a downtrodden John claret! Dont worry be happy for once. it’s the bank holiday, it’s not raining and all is good in the world of Blackburn Rovers FC????

ROVERS v Brentford
1864roverite replied to blueboy3333's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
3 points is 3 points. Great result in what was a very hard fought match against a well organised Brentford team. all those mocking Evans should really look st his performance he was fabulous and ran himself into the ground. Top player assisted by Bennett. Raya made 2 wonderful saves which must have had Brentford wondering just how he kept both shots out. Good goal to finish off a wonderful move. Off out enjoy tonight folks? -
Wes hoolahan is a freebie released by Norwich must be a decent shout if he is fit
