  1. Past hour
  2. I think its more the case that you need to pay for representation for whatever trumped up case they try to bring against you, and Rudy/Pasha/Venkys have more money than you do, so if you get tied up in court, you will run dry before they do
  3. Wrexham enjoying absolute dreamland stuff tbf. Fair play to them. We could only hope for a fraction of that excitement, engagement and ambition from our hierarchy. We'll be playing Ismael Ball against Bromley - at least when we play at their place we can enjoy a new pitch.
  4. One day, we will have a Netflix documentary. Venkys will be gone, fans will be back, our new owners will be ambitious and it will be the rebirth of Rovers...
  5. Worth mentioning they are battling Palace for this signature as they're selling Mateta. That's not "normal" champ ambition, it's Disney+ eyes revenue from Hollywood FC.
  6. Rovers fans seem to be finding Instagram posts which feature one of our delightful overlords, Balaji Rao, and are flooding the comments with "VenkysOut" or calls to sell the club etc. Comments keep getting turned off on the posts though.
  7. No doubting we are miles and miles behind but if that is true and happens it’s absolutely bonkers and could be boom or bust not to mention his age and profile and how big a gamble it is - like the player in question isn’t some sort of superstar
  8. How can you be threatened legally for posting a telephone conversation? Was the conversation under an NDA? Was there a clause issued prior to the call that it was not to be recorded?
  9. Aside from the moronic element on Twitter, I think the conversation has been mostly respectful. To anyone sitting on the fence, this decision has no right or wrong answer for me. Every fan has a valid reason to attend the game, that must always be the starting point here. I recall under King Rat, I gave one poster pelters for not boycotting, the poster DMd me and explained he attended because he promised his grandad, recently deceased, he wouldn’t let them force him out. I learnt a valuable lesson that day, he was right, I was an arsehole and wrong. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
  10. Agreed the overall point I’m making is the 26 registered players shouldn’t be an issue it’s extremely clear who is cut out and who isn’t ready for championship football. However Rudy won’t see it that way
  11. Fwiw (not much), I think if we drop to League 1 there'll be funds available to get us back to the Championship. I'd say that's the level at which its most profitable for the people who actually run the club.
  12. I'm a season ticket holden and I've been to every weekend home game and a couple of the midweek ones. If I was asked to miss the rest of the season it would be a no. If I was asked to not buy a season ticket next year that would be 50/50 as I can easily pick and choose games as I miss a few anyway. However missing one game on a miserable, drizzly Saturday against low-key opposition to try and make the point is an easy decision for myself. It's a single afternoon. There's another home game next weekend to catch up with my mates. Partaking in boycotting this one game doesn't mean that going forward you will be asked (or have to) miss further games. It's an isolated message.
  13. A few journo's (Pete O'Rourke being one), are claiming that Wrexham are offering "up to" £19m for Sidiki Cherif of Angers. I assume that £19m would be heavily based around promotion to the PL but it shows how far behind we are, even against clubs like Wrexham, in both ambition and finances.
  14. There is no reason for the Sigurdsson treatment. The club at least before these dickheads bought us wouldnt have conducted ourselves in such a way. If we tell players that they likely wont be registered if they stay, and they choose to stay on their contracts as they are entitled to do. At least we have treated them properly.
  15. Oh to have a young(er) Don Mackay to come in and somehow keep us up. Suspect VI is safe as will cost money to remove him, but Damian Johnson would at least be a free replacement. The league table is looking beyond grim, something - anything needs to be done.
  16. U18’s had a huge win over Coventry; give a few of the lads a start. The result would be the same, but it would be exciting to watch.
  17. Today
  18. Out of interest, say the boycott happens this weekend, Rovers completely ignore it which they will, and there is a crowd on Ewood similar to the Oxford/Milwall games which were both really low but nothing out of the ordinary in recent times. Do we all (ST Holders) just trudge over to Ewood as normal next Saturday against Hull?
  19. Has been discussed and is something I suggested in September. My idea was boycott, pressure into owners saying club for sale, then reverse boycott to show new owners our potential. Only works if boycott successful and they say club for sale. Those in self imposed exile would only return for a match if the above was expressed publicly.
  20. Or if they did that would be the end of the transfer window
  21. Rise together like the good old(ish) days
  22. I think me and my friends will end up going to the Darwen game this weekend instead. I live in between both so doesn't really bother me. My young lad is just getting into football and I got him a season ticket for rovers last year. It'd be a shame for him to miss out and for us to lose that Saturday afternoon together. If there is a viable alternative, like this Saturday at Darwen then I'll choose it. He's been to a charity game there before and it was far more entertaining than anything he has had to suffer at ewood this season.
  23. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Blackburn have an absolute gem in Valentin Joseph. 19 goal contributions in 18 games for the 17-year-old attacker this season. He’s quick, strong and sublimely technical. The way he holds up the ball as a striker with his back to goal is impressive. He uses his body really well and regularly turns his opponents with clever movement. One vs one when he’s facing the opponent’s goal he has really quick feet. He can bamboozle defenders easily with nice turns and deft touches. He’s a good finisher. Regularly gets into goal-scoring positions. Averages 3.77 shots per 90 for Blackburn at youth level and gets 54% of his shots on target. There’s still room for him to improve in this area. I think he could be even more prolific when he does. He is eligible to represent England and Germany at international level. He actually used to be at Liverpool’s academy before he joined Blackburn. His brother is Vincent Joseph, who still plays for Liverpool. One to watch 👀
  24. Presume Joseph hasn't signed a professional deal and will off at the end of the season for minimal compo?
  25. Every person counts. If is a tough decision but if nothing else you will be able to look yourself in the mirror and know you tried. We have to start somewhere. You are not letting anyone down, the Owners and Pasha have let you down and taken your loyalty for granted.
  26. Given our track record on rejecting keepers I am fully expecting Pears to surprise us all and get premier league games like Steele, Walton, Raya.
