  1. Past hour
  2. Carragher's lucky to even have a media career. People have been cancelled for much less.
  3. The point was never about his ability or otherwise. Although to guide Celtic to wins in that league considering their resources is not an achievement. The point was about appointing someone because "he knows the club," a point apparently specifically relevant to Celtic or Rangers for some unexplainable reason.
  4. That's a good response! But short-term!
  5. This ‘washed up old has been’ that’s been out of football for years, isn’t doing badly……
  6. Today
  7. Followed by pestilence, plague and fire, it never ends!
  8. Thought with you and your family IraC, they’ll get their comeuppance, the world works in mysterious ways! RIP
  9. Resisting the temptation to post the protest song regarding Boris Johnson that charted in 2020.. 🫠
  10. Not being local I hadn't heard this awful news, and I'm so sorry to learn about it. With you fella, all the very best.
  11. I don't know what to think about tomorrow. Obviously we're destined to lose. Another drab home loss to nil would not surprise me at all. But if anything is going to motivate this lot at home it has to be injustice. A hard fought draw would be most welcome and isn't impossible.
  12. Chansiri’s ban doesn’t feel anything like long enough.
  13. No it wasn't Carragher. I'll see if I can find the recording.
  14. Got another 2 extra who weren't going, a mate and his lad.
  15. Two things can be true at once. He could be injured and have an appearance based clause in his contract. The latter could mean the club aren’t in a rush for him to return from the former. Just throwing that out there as yet another option 😁😁
  16. I just checked the Skysports Scores app and it brought up all the stats, lineups etc from the abandoned game. ------------------Toth Alebiosu----Miller---Wharton---Riberio -------------Tronstad--TGH Morishita-------Cantwell------Hedges -----------------Ohashi What we're likley to start with tomorrow: ----------------------Pears ----------Miller----McLoughlin---Pratt Alebiosu-------------------------------Hedges -----------------TGH-----Forshaw -------------------Morishita -------------Ohashi--------Gudjohnson Feels like a much weaker team we're likely putting out tomorrow night, albeit, it's noted that we've had more success playing a back 3.
  17. Cheers Tony and for everyone else’s messages. Tomorrow will probably be the toughest day of my life, so the messages and out pouring will help.
  18. Thank you for all the votes so far. Polls close tomorrow. More 'lesser seen' 90s highlights from the rearranged match at home to Wimbledon (93/94) after a waterlogged pitch caused the first game to be postponed. Memorable for a Jason Wilcox pile driver, with Rovers in irresistible form in the first half.
  19. Hi Josh. I didn’t know you knew Luke, but it’s amazing who does. The tributes have been overwhelming. Hope the applause can be heard for him at Ewood tomorrow
  20. Keira Walsh captaining the England team.
  21. Respect your opinion on all such matters but disagree. (Not that it matters now anyway -plus we had plenty of chance to set up and defend it.) In the box, barge in the back, penalty -most certainly in the prem. Agree, that in the Championship you generally have to kill someone first. Also, reverse it. So, defender running towards his own goal line, often trying to shepherd the ball out for a goalkick, forward touches defender slightly from behind, never mind barges him in the back, ref/lino gives free kick all day long. Such an easy decision for the lino to give in this instance. Hedges doesn't touch the ball until after the shove -I could understand if he is making a 'brusque' tackle with his feet - he isn't -he is running towards his own goal, shoves attacker more in the back than shoulder and then collects the ball. Attacker falls over and says thanks very much. Anyway, all done and dusted. All about opinions. Perhaps more interesting/galling is the victim mentality that is emerging and being offered as an excuse, along with the home crowd deficiency narrative. As an aside, it would be interesting to know if you have any solutions to the refereeing ‘crisis’ that is regularly cited by many fans in social media, on the terraces and by football pundits.
  22. Though the Sky guide for Sky Sports + isn’t listing it, but then there is a PL game on there, so yeah, presumably red button.
  23. Oh that’s good for me. Was thinking to go, but can’t be arsed.
  24. This game is now being listed as being on Sky Sports... https://www.skysports.com/watch/football-on-sky/competitions/championship
