  1. Past hour
  2. Surely in the general scheme of things another left sided player is the last thing we need with Kargbo, De Neve and Hedges already on the books? (Albeit the latter two are crap)
  3. Seems like a fairly nomadic career has kicked on since he was played as a winger. I dont think he will be signing as anything but a winger. You mentioned Legia fans going mad @Paul Mani and I have seen similar. I have sometimes been criticised but its always a good indication IMO, whether it be good or bad. He seems very popular there. Reason I mention is that one person said that he is their only winger.
  4. Aye can delete this thread now 🀣
  5. Yeah I don't think he's the RW signing so I reckon we'd still be looking at Afolayan too. If we can get these signings over the line then we could actually have a very exciting squad full of pace and athleticism. Not sure the last time we had a squad that had those traits. We've been a very one-paced team for a long time.
  6. Personally I take all these twitter accounts that espouse 'inside info' with a pinch of salt. If you want to believe them that is perfectly your right.
  7. Unless we’re signing Morishita and Afolayan!? πŸ‘€
  8. I'd hope Morishita is a Buckley replacement. Would seem underwhelming if he's the right winger we're signing.
  9. Have to say, for better or worse, this is the most interesting window I can remember in all my time watching Rovers (apart maybe from the early Uncle Jack era). Looks like a complete overhaul of the squad when most people were thinking about a bit of tinkering here and there. I realise certain circumstances have maybe forced the issue with players leaving but the complete change of policy to permanent signings rather than loans is in my opinion sensible. Sure, not all of these are going to come off, but if 75-80% are a success than the club has been vindicated in my eyes.
  10. He's apparently a left wing back who can also play left wing or left back. Very good going forward. Very reputable sources saying it's a done deal so I expect this one will happen. Looks like a real coup. Interesting that we're signing a left sided player when we're well covered on that side and it's never been mentioned that we're after a player in that position. It is needed though as De Neve and Hedges should be back up players.
  11. Yeah even though its a loan he would still need a ESC spot here. If Mafoumbi had gone on loan to say Port Vale or something, he would take up a ESC spot both here and at Vale.
  12. Polish journalist states that the fee exceeds €2m, will be over Β£1.7m πŸ‘πŸ»
  13. Ismael signing a player who is 5 ft 6? BS alert.
  14. Thank you. I think on the other one I used, it seems like its the Japan caps that perhaps werent up to date.
  15. Will certainly cost a few bob considering he's got a few years left on his contract...Hats off to the recruitment team if we pull it off.
  16. So you think that if Gueye played a full season, he would score 18 goals ie double a Gallagher season? He played a lot of minutes last season and when he started we did noticeably worse. I would side with Gallagher out of the 2 but my point is that there isnt a big difference between the 2. One isnt miles better than the other. Both are poor. I also havent seen this large quantity of chances that Gueye has had and missed. Certainly doesnt happen in every game.
  17. I wouldn’t have Dennis back even if he offered to play for free. The guy’s a waster.
  18. The Legia fans are losing their SHIT about selling this Morishita. Which is a good sign….from the video’s looks like he plays as a right winger and is right footed? πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ
  19. Interestingly Waggott was a SISU appointment. I reached out to Coventry fans for their thoughts when Waggott was trying to flog Brockhall. Suffice to say they weren't very complimentary about the Coventrio. And that old goat Mowbray got honoured here the other week as well.
  20. Maybe Travis has let them down. But either way, my main point is about the total lack of professionalism that running a twitter account in that way. Its a pretty fair assumption based on how its being run and how every single tweet in terms of transfers has been correct.
