  1. Past hour
  2. Can't say for certain just because we were winning those games, I wouldn't trust this lot to hold onto a 1-0 lead going into the final stages of any game. Why would he be worried? He is doing exactly what he is being asked, to downsize this club so much that its manageable for our owners and there minions. If they don't manage the relegation this season, they definitely will next.
  3. He is doing exactly what the regime wants him to do. For the 100th time, football results are not a priority here. This is exactly what will happen, lose the next two fairly comfortably, then we'll beat Sheffield Wednesday and somehow get a point at Norwich and they won't stop banging on about it for ages. Then we'll go another 10 or so without a win.
  4. Napkin count has Middlesbrough with 9 injuries atm, including to key players like Brittain, McGree, Strelec. Maybe its the extra 4 that accounts for the 20 position gap on the league table.
  5. One of the big draws for the club for a prospective new owner has to be our Academy. In many ways, it could be one of the saving graces (IF we stay up...) of playing Academy players this season. Imagine a good ownership structure with actual qualified football people running the club...you would have a potential money tap of young players coming through, properly managed, progressed, delivering for a good Manager and sold by football finance people that know what they're doing....
  6. Given how arrogant he evidently is, this coming out is bringing me joy. To be so horrendous at negotiating that someone literally repeating your price back at you causes you to half that price is... hilarious. He's that dreadful combination of incompetent and confident. Wanker.
  7. Every team that have visited Ewood this season, have bounced back with useless ismael in the dugout.
  8. I've been to every home game this season, but I'm seriously considering joining the boycott.
  9. Maybe we should join in with the Watford supporters, (your a supporter, if you go through the turnstiles) Ismael is the worst manager in the Championship. Rovers 150th anniversary, and heading into league 1 under Ismael.
  10. Guess Pickering isn't off to Reading then. They've just brought in Haydon Roberts
  11. Halves his asking price then calls him a good keeper.
  12. I've taken up the offer of a trip to watch Chorley instead, so at least I get my football fix with friends. Apparently we can have a pint in the stands as well!
  13. 0-5 we got lucky against a wasteful Swansea the scoreless e flattered us
  14. While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles
  15. So what does he want to do, turn up and back the lads and not utter a word of descent about how these people are killing the club he supports?
  16. Does this guy seriously think we are 1 poor crowd away from entire liquidation without a single buyer.
  17. Today
  18. It’s the only thing that keeps me interested in Rovers right now, as the matches and the shenanigans at the club certainly don’t. I log on, read and post, in the hope that somewhere along the line, there is a glimmer of hope that someone has found something that finally nails those culpable and we are finally rid of them.
  19. So are we predicting a rumour or two today to ‘try’ and defuse the rising tensions within the fanbase?
  20. I’ve been visiting this thread for hours now…it’s part of my ritual & without it I’d feel lost…
  21. Yes, not feasible. Everyone turning out for the first game in administration etc after a rallying cry or a potential buyer has gone public. Yes, can see that.
  22. A reverse Boycott just undoes all the work of the original boycott, surely? Especially when the tag line is turn off the taps or not a penny more.
  23. They're coming to the right place then
  24. People have always said that the championship is a difficult league to get out of, I think we’re making it look easy.
  25. Absolutely right. The manager says, we can't compete at the minute, so the players already have their excuses, as well as him. It is the injuries according to the manager and as we know, he has also stated we will be okay, when everyone is back, but just like all the other quotes (We have a more competitive team than last year etc) that doesn't hold up If ever a managerial quote could be more ill timed, this is one, as we are now in the bottom 3 we have won 2 games at home all season, one in the last 13 we can't get shots on target, let alone score and we have the added bonus of a fans boycott, so anyone who was on the fence, may now give it a miss, given this quote. The opposition will have taken note and will be all out to prove him right, so they will turn up extra fired up and ready to rub the uncompetitive, teams noses, into the dirt. As an added bonus the bookmakers are aware of this too and Watford have gone from 7/4 to 6/4 and are favorites to beat us. That price is still crazy, as this will be a defeat by at least a 2 goal margin (4/1) and will ensure we remain firmly in the relegation places at 5.00pm.
  26. What if 3/4s of the crowd are wearing Venkies out shirts?
