  1. Past hour
  2. 1. They ask us to accept that the made mistakes that caused us to mess 3 transfers up. 2. They have lost 3 very good managers in recent years and blamed the manager and not themselves, never accepting responsibility. 3. The let players contracts run down and always blame the players, not once accepting that it could be low balling them 4. They let an agent run the club and sell lots of players and replace them with inferior ones, costing us a place in the top flight and never getting anywhere near retuning. 5. They sack a manager who has us in the top half of the league and replace him, with an under qualified coach, who git us relegated 6. They tell us they will absolutely respect the legacy of Jack Walker 7. They try to sell the training ground and would never have admitted to it, has some fans not uncovered it. 8. They sell our star player a home grown talent, as they have been unable/unwilling to fund the club, through their own underhanded actions, thus putting us in serious financial difficulty. 9. They bring in a bunch of unknown un tested players, including an agent son, who never make a single appearance for the club (referred to as the Portugeezers) 10. They force long serving staff out of the door, with hardly a word of thanks or acknowledgement (David Lowe is one such example) 11. They appoint a global adviser, who turns the club into a laughing stock. (RIP Shebby, as you were well meaning) 12. They send ยฃ5m that was supposed to have been used for the club to Canada and cause serious issues with future funding, due to this. 13. Thye fail to maintain the ground adequately. 14. They raise the prices to such a level that they sell a record low number of season tickets and then announce that they will not try to re- engage with these lapsed fans. 15. They constantly have a reset and promise jam tomorrow, that never arrives. 16. They remove all of the historical memorabilia in blues bar and replace it, with their own version. 17. They constantly run out of stock in the club shop 18. They make it difficult for fans to buy tickets at times and force them into a more expensive route if they can. 19. The pay lip service to respecting the history of the club, such as a proper agenda for the upcoming 150th year. 20. They threaten the fans with a ban, if they rebel in the wrong way. There are many more too, but no doubt you will attempt to defend these 20 for now.
  3. I've never met most of them so you need direct your at people on the fans forum
  4. That game is our remembrance game for our fallen hero's, something completely lost on the club. I believe the 150 celebrations in the main have been diluted as much as possible so they dont have to spend any money in marking the achievement. Cheap and cheerful and milk the supporters where possible,
  5. Chaddy, in your view, do the good people on the fans forum include the Rovers management?
  6. I remember looking at our team under Mowbray and being proud of the British feel and littered with academy products. Felt we at least bucked the trend with that. The academy player streak is a source of pride also. So Iโ€™d be very sad to see that go Unfortunately the English premium is killing us. And we canโ€™t keep hold of our best academy players. We need new owners, or we are going to keep finding ourselves in new and unwanted situations
  7. 3 months today is the 150th anniversary of the formation of Blackburn Rovers at the St Leger Hotel in town. We should be brimming with excitement and anticipation at this momentous year - yes we should be celebrating the year of our founding not just the day. What do Rovers have planned: - the new much vaunted Rovers museum is to be a few glass display cases to show off the contents on ground tours. - we are to get a 150th Anniversary book but the COO, against the advice of the now departed CEO, wants to have an introduction by the owners which will result in fewer sales. I hope he sees sense. - supporters have formally asked for a Blue Plaque at the site of the St Leger Hotel; WATR even gained permission from the site owners but the Club and council are reluctant as โ€œthey get stolenโ€. Why not think outside of the box and put the plaque a a bit higher and sell plastic replicas in the Club shop? - I am told that the post match fireworks for the game v Derby were booked but have been cancelled due to the cost. - what will be the ticket prices for the Derby game? Will they pitch them at Cat A to โ€˜milkโ€™ the fans again or will they try and do an offer to entice fans to return. I do worry as to what route the management (sic) will take. - nothing more has been heard of the plans for 3 house gable ends to be painted with scenes celebrating 150 years. - there is a rumour doing the rounds in East Lancashire that Rovers are to order a new TIFO will the images of our illustrious owners. 150 years (sorry 135 years) of a proud Blackburn Rovers deserves celebrating. I worry that it will be a damp squib. Perhaps we should use the Derby game as an opportunity to make our views heard.
  8. Ayala ๐Ÿ˜‰ Look what happened to our results in the spell he was out of the team in the 2nd half of the season
  9. I dont think it's right to blame the FF or O2G for the minutes at all. That's was my main point. I think you are wide of the mark here They are several good people on the fans forum and I guarantee they don't get an easy ride at all. Easy to throw mud from the outside. These give up their free time to attend and asked questions to Rovers management
  10. Well, there are certainly some that are wide of the mark ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. I was in that meeting and this has been blown way out of proportion. This is a delay down to the club. It's frustrating as hell and I in fact chased the completion of the minutes on Sunday with all that attended.
  11. and when that day happens, Rovers via social media will claim it a victory for our expanded scouting network
  12. Loves Berkavoic.. so smooth and graceful. Criminally under rated! I recall Southampton buying a glut of players including him and Ostenstadt to accompany a young Latvian Michael Owen that absolutely dismantled Man United.. what a brilliant era!!!
  13. Sadly also seems that the proud streak of Academy players in the XI will end fairly soon. Might even get our first ever non-english XI. Travis, Wharton, Carter, Montgomery and Tyjon (not counting Buckley) are the only ones with that classification, and between potential sales and injuries, it's very possible we see a team of; Toth, Ribiero, McLaughlin, Hyam, Miller, Sondre, Tavares, Kargbo, Hendrickson, Hedges, Ohashi. Zero English, Zero Academy. Minor problem in 2025? maybe. But sad.
  14. I said I.would buy Pears's replacement if sold Yes Really?
  15. Tugay was ok too, I guessโ€ฆ
  16. I'm hoping De Neve isn't a starter come the end of the transfer window
  17. I think you are very wide of the mark here and if you care to do a bit more research and speak to people who attended the meeting (especially this who want for the first time) you will understand what is really going on here. The club use these meetings as a way of meeting their obligations and are literally getting an easy rise and taking the fans for mugs. Some will accept this and some won't and you are free to choose the former, but this is creating more harm than good and I stand by my call for the Fans form to disband.
  18. Swedish guy will play "right wing" I think, but narrower Out of possession Ohashi De Neve Cantwell Henriksson Tronstad Travis/Baradji Ribeiro McLoughlin Hyam Miller Toth In Possession Ohashi Cantwell Henriksson De Neve Tronstad Travis/Baradji Miller Ribeiro McLoughlin Hyam Toth
  19. It's why I am a bit worried about the complete lack of links to a winger (since the Saudi one stopped), every other signing we have made is pretty much a cheaper salaried replacement for a player we offloaded (not including loans): McLoughlan = Batth Miller = Brittain Alebiosu = JRC Tavares = Weimann De Neve = Dolan/Markanday We know that Pasha hasn't allowed a transfer budget above what we already have, so I think we are creating funds by reducing wage expenditure and then that funds the difference (say a 5k player replacing a 10k one, and using the 250k odd difference for transfer). The transfer fees themselves, like for Brittain will instead be largely used for day-to-day costs, and maybe 10-20% to help get a replacement to placate the fans (Miller I would guess they knew they needed a replacement or there would be revolt). So in a practical sense incoming transfers do not impact the lack of budget.
  20. Impossible! Sales do not impact the budget ๐Ÿ˜‰
