  1. Past hour
  2. I've mentioned it before but I think they're pretty fortunate to be as high as they are in the table. Without all those late goals earlier on in the season they'd be in a right predicament.
  3. The only way Rovers could succeed again—and be freed from the hostage situation—will be when everybody is aligned around the one cause: removing the owners and their disgraceful puppeteers. So in a way, you are correct. Alignment is the most important thing.
  4. I use it with sarcasm because it's a modern buzzword designed to hoodwink people into thinking all is well when it's clearly not i.e. "We're all aligned" (therefore by definition everything is clearly going to be ok despite all obvious signs to the contrary etc) Or we're "on a journey" (Mowbray) or we have to "trust in the process". There's another couple. Id have thought we'd have a lot better chance of success if rather than have a Head Coach completely on board with pursuing a disastrous policy, we had an ambitious Coach like JDT or Eustace completely at odds with Gestede and Pasha begging them to spend as much as possible on the team.
  5. That was as bad as I remember seeing Liverpool play for a long time. It said to me from just a couple of minutes in that they weren’t playing for Slot. He must be at risk.
  6. Seriously? How could anyone quote the term, as used by Gestede (to promote his dumbing down agenda and silence healthy criticism )and do so without sarcasm?
  7. Our fan base is f****ng deluded and tapped in the head unfortunately. They give stick to anyone and everyone and don’t do enough to even slightly hurt the ones above.
  8. Mate he watched the ball sail in from the left 🤣
  9. Erm, let's not forget the first season he was here, with a decent squad that nearly got relegated - how many games did it take for him to win at home? He did well until Xmas last season and then left for better pay, more resources and a shorter drive to work. A very good coach who was always passing through. There were plastic snakes in the 70s as I had one. Never felt the need to bring it to games and don't now.
  10. Not incredible to me, just standard for a lot of fans, they live in a team only bubble .
  11. Lol we bicker over some dumb shit on this forum no wonder he wanted to leave with a fanbase like this. He owed us nothing, gutted he left and he left for good reason and good luck to him because he's just one of many managers that have and will come and go through our doors under this lot. Val will be another one it's nothing new here. As our true family fan base deteriorates, we too become replaced by people who know no different. It's happening already. 15 years is a long time and rapidly sees a fanbase change. Out with the old in with the new
  12. Its incredible how for someone who moved on from annoyance at Eustace telling a white lie in a press conference "ages ago", it has been mentioned so many times whereas with 15 years of constant lies, barely a murmur.
  13. He definitely is not shocking. I do have doubts about him, he is rash and has a mistake in him (see Bristol City away) and hes also not the best on the ball. I am sick of the throw too although obviously thats the managers responsibility. Im still not sure what his best position is, but there is something to work with. Celtic should coast to the league with the resources they have (even allowing for the fact they have spent less this season) and likely will now a big chunk of toxicity has gone, Hearts starting well got people giddy but they likely will revert to the mean. Rangers should be more competitive but theyve totally wasted so much money, mainly on crap from England.
  14. So do I but come on, the ball's past him in a flash, whoever I'm blaming, It isn't Pears.
  15. I don’t think it’s as bad as people (the hardcore) make out, although I think it’s pretty clear they have made the game more easily adaptable for those who play on console. Definitely seems easier to do transfers though. Lots of people reporting unbelievably good transfers in early seasons. Mate of mine signed Neymar on a free in Season 2 for newly promoted Coventry.
  16. Don't know why you use the word aligned with such sarcasm,it's the most important thing. As for what success looks like, promotion has to be the ultimate aim. Whatever success looks like to different people,it definitely won't happen with any coach unless he's on board with what's happening recruitment wise.
  17. Today
  18. So to summarise: Majority of match going supporters are as thick as two short planks and would make a great target for my magic bean selling endeavour.
  19. I find the claims about wingers lacking end product often to be lazy analysis. Even worse, sometimes, it seems to me a resentment against wingers and other such 'Fancy Dans'. A winger that runs at players and tries to make crosses whilst going at full pelt is going to lose the ball more than other players. Theirs is a high risk, high reward style of play. The alternatives are the Grealish at Man City winger that acts as a wall to keep possession or the winger that only passes/crosses. That said, there's no doubt that there are some 'dribbler wingers' that are wasteful. But Doku has always struck me as a player who makes things happen and unlocks defences. Is he at the Mahrez level - maybe not yet - but I think if he plays regularly, he will be.
  20. Mike, annoyed by him leaving at the time. Now? Moved on aged ago. Did I booed him yesterday? No I didn't. Did I booed BBD? No I didnt Did I clapped Weimann when he warmed up? Deffo after his worldie against that lot. Some fans booed Eustace and BBD, that's they choice.
  21. 100% ...All standing in line, facing the same way, as the ship sinks to the bottom of the sea and for the sake of the proverbial ha'pworth of tar. That last minute sale of Dom Hyam so sums up this rotten Rudy Getede/Suhail era. Yesterday's first half shit show was engineered in the last transfer window. Wharton and Carte?-we all knew and that makes it so much harder to bear...
  22. You just need to understand a big percentage of match goers, they by and large aren’t interested in ‘off the field’ stuff. They just want to ‘get behind the club’. They see a manager that left for a club in a similar position in the league and they can’t comprehend it over ‘well, he’s greedy, boo, hiss 🐍!’ They don’t put two and two together as to why so many players and managers want to get away, they are just ‘disloyal’. They furthermore see dissenting chants as also not ‘getting behind the club’, though in reality that is what the dissenters are doing as we are the club and want better for it instead of meekly accepting this regime’s downsizing of it.
  23. That’s what you get when you go looking for proven experienced talent at this level and not bargain basement signings. He’s been around the block long enough to be all those things. How he’d go on with our corners is another story.
  24. That’s my thinking about him but it’ll be interesting to see how he does back at Brighton.
  25. Re: the bit in bold. We have had a manager under these owners who literally claimed that fans had spiked his drinks, to try and avoid a drink-drive charge. I think a lie over the timing of an approach from a club by a matter of two days isn’t something worth getting annoyed about.
