  1. Past hour
  2. Wouldn’t worry about players not being announced. Sunday usually a quiet day. Media team and managers might be unavailable to announce the transfer. Can’t see Ismael being down Brockhall today after playing in Holland yesterday
  3. I was at that replayed game at Cambridge- horrible evening apart from Colin's strike.
  4. Good lad James. Local too. Family from Feniscowles
  5. Brittain to boro is a done deal by all accounts Derby are gone have moved on to someone else
  6. Is he better yes Iv stated as much is he a massive loss? No becasue we have shown we have players capable of playing in his position getting similar results ps he’s injured again
  7. thanks for reply. I hope they stay up Stanley this season. Hopefully they can get a mid table finish this season.
  8. When we had Pickering behind him and Beck was linking up with.Cantwell I thought it looked good and Cantwell had his better games when Beck was out there imo I'd rather an decent attacking player out there but I don't think Beck looked out of place there myself and it made that left side solid so il disagree
  9. Best of a bad bunch but not a set piece taker. We need to try and find one.
  10. Brittain will go one way or another so probably cut price to Derby if Boro pull out.
  11. Mate I'd love to play Derby with Beck playing LW. He's not got the close control for it.
  12. Beck suffered with injury. There are so many variables...like who else was missing in those games...who the opposition was , how many games home and away etc Imo Derby have a better left back and all round player as Beck can do a job left side of a 3 behind the striker and I'm jealous they have him but the concern with him is the injuries The winning run toward the end of the season when Ribiero picked up most his wins was towards the end and as decent as a run as it was we played a few who had absolutely nothing to play for
  13. Won’t count for much with that manager in charge. Poor poor appointment
  14. Boro also trying to persuade Akpom to return, if they're going head to head with Brum for him, you'd expect it'll cost them a few quid.... They've been very quite on the transfer front Boro but look to be making a few moves now...
  15. You go on about being a Rovers die hard which I don't dispute when it comes to whatever 11 players are pulling on the blue n White and whoever the head coach and coaching staff are But why are you not angry or worried over what is going on behind the scenes? Don't you want answers over what the long term plan is? Do the owners have any intention of s Why we can't seem to get any of our better players signed up to new contracts? Why do Managers and staff keep getting desperate to leave here? What are they doing about trying to get the ground a bit fuller? Etc Etc Etc I'd be here all night if I was to write down all the questions I'd like answering We want to know what was discussed at the forum what's your problem with it. Going on in another post about the club being more engaging because they have put up a few videos on their YouTube account.
  16. Irakli Yegoian a good attacking CAM/RM will be going cheap now with his club in Holland going under, would be a good buy but far to short for Val
  17. I’m always of the opinion that you have to be fairly poor player-wise and lack tactical nouse to go down. It always surprises me how limited sides who are sat comfortably mid-table can appear sometimes. Therefore until I’ve seen how our lot gel I’m going into it with an open mind. The most likely result I feel is a defeat, but it wouldn’t be surprising if we were saying they looked fairly poor after the game and we come away with a decent result. The obvious issue is right back. Montgomery looks a big risk and Alebiosu is a complete unknown.
  18. Today
  19. We can't possibly need to sell. So much has walked out of the door.
  20. "Sales do not affect the budget" - Rudy Gestede April 2025
  21. Derby are bidding for Johnstone from Sturm Graz who is a right back.Bid turned down last week and an improved bid turned down over the weekend. Brittain will probably be announced by Boro tomorrow
  22. Fair play to you Mike. You tried your damnedest for the betterment of Blackburn Rovers in good faith… that sentence being the exact opposite of what the modus operandi of the regime is.
  23. Am I right in thinking this is the extent of the transfers thus far? In Sidney Tavares Dion de Neve Ryan Alebiosu Sean McLoughlin Out JRC Danny Baath Tyrhys Dolan Andreas Weimann So, given the expenditure perhaps exceeding income, as far as anyone can make out, (not taking into account wages saved), we will need to sell to either a) balance the books as they stand b) before we think of bringing anyone else new in. That would lead to the conclusion that there will likely be selling of assets ie one or all of Brittain, Travis, Tronstad. All guesswork of course.
  24. After Cambridge lost 5-0 to Leicester, Beck said Rovers didn't have a cat in hell's chance of winning the final. Got that one wrong, didn't he.
