Just to be clear, it’s not guilt. I don’t think this boycott will achieve anything other than a louder echo, or a load of nonsensical shit from the 168 Watford fans who turn up. We have spent weeks just sort of using 1, realising they arent capable of playing that position and then changing around. And he seems happy to just leave it.

Ohashi at most other Championship clubs would've been signed as a bench filler and impact sub. He seemed absolutely perfect for the role of coming on and using all that energy against tired defenders - The lovely dink on his debut against Derby and the last minute equaliser against Norwich spring to mind. Unfortunately for Rovers, their recruitment has been so awful that he's ended up leading the line pretty much ever since Ismael came in, which is just not what he's built for, and he looks absolutely shattered for it too, which I imagine plays a part in why he also appears absolutely useless these days...goal away at Portsmouth aside. I love the guy for his energy, but as soon as Gudjohnsen is back Ohashi needs to spend a few weeks on the bench.

One interesting snippet from that article was that Sohail apparently sat a football management course in Manchester within the last year or two. If that is true then it demonstrates what we are dealing with here. Thank god the rumour was false as that would have been yet another nail in the coffin. It does feel like a case of self preservation rushing everyone back. Ismael also mentioned "hopefully" having a striker by next week and a total of 8 bodies on top of what we had midweek. Surely we arent thick enough to not bother with a left wing back.
