  1. Past hour
  2. in my opinion ...started of as an ego trip , evolved to a milking job , now a mess to kick down the road
  3. I remember a demo against Saxton following a bad defeat that would be November /December 86, he was sacked after a couple bad Xmas results, one being at Hull and it that was bloody cold, I think Mckinnon played..
  4. Errrrr.......I think you've answered your own question there!
  5. So if that's the case - what's in it for Venky's - nothing whatsoever seemingly other than the opportunity to run up a mountain of debt secured against their assets.
  6. Is that an extra £15 every time you go in Jack's or a one off £15 charge as part of a seasonal upgrade to your Blues membership?
  7. Nobody ...i mean NOBODY can and will boot him... not even Venkys ... its pasha's PROJECT ...Venky's are on for the ride
  8. After we got relegated to the old Div 3 in 1978 (?) everyone flooded onto the pitch to show support for caretaker boss John Pickering who, despite being dealt a very difficult hand and being given no financial support, was actually very popular. Could it have been that? Then we got Howard. What a turnaround.
  9. That's right. No thought for reinvestment. No thought for improving the team. No thought for promotion. He also arrogantly said "I'm not going to ask them for £15m-20m, it's not sustainable". The context to this...he stated in a previous meeting that he was going to ask the owners for a bigger budget for this summer. When questioned on this by Glen at the fans forum meeting, the above was his retort. Pasha also stressed that the budget will not be affected at all by player sales. Even in the hypothetical scenario that Gueye was sold for £20m, the budget does not increase. It remains fixed as it is. So lets get this straight: 1) Pasha has never asked the owners about using a percentage of transfer fees received to reinvest into the squad. 2) Transfer fees received do not impact on the budget at all. It will not increase. 3) Pasha believes spending more doesn't guarantee a jump in League position (apply the same wisdom to the idea of promotion) 4) Pasha did not ask the owners for a bigger budget and won't ask for £15m-20m as it's not sustainable. On the latter...he seems to be deciding off his own back what is, and what isn't, sustainable. Why doesn't he let them decide that? Also, how many times over the last 10 years has he had this thought and therefore refrained from asking the owners for money? I wonder... He's on £500k a year and has been here for 10 years. Why is he here and for what purpose? He isn't advising the owners on promotion, so what advice is he giving? There's something not adding up here. Without any doubt, our fanbase must unite to drive this obstacle out. The podcast with Glen is a great starting point to educate people on what we are dealing with. There's no way Pasha is on our side here, for me. He isn't Rovers. His arrogance, his dismissive answers and his disdain for Rovers fans attending a meeting shows that. He needs booting out.
  10. I posted last week that just when you think we couldn't sink any lower they somehow seem to manage to surprise us time after time. This is only a relatively small thing but arguably it's another of those times. Just so we know exactly what we're talking about, how much is membership for Blues this season and how much was it last season? Im guessing that you still have to pay the same membership fee as last season and they've simply removed the Sky offering rather than them removing Sky and scrapping any membership fee by way of compensation? Despite all the old tosh about offering "great matchday value".
  11. It’s the kind of thing that would even raise your eyebrow if you heard about it at a Darwen or Clitheroe FC. I mean, Blackburn Rovers and it can’t even pay the Sky bill… everything Jack built and we are now back to Bobby Saxton fishing the spare balls out the River Darwen levels… yet with billionaire owners.
  12. I’m clearly biased but they are quite superb. Put a GANT logo on it & that sells for £150 😁
  13. Exactly, a normal football club keeps and extends the core group. Let go of a few who won’t be good enough and add to it, nope just rip the core group 🤦‍♂️ just waiting for the exciting summer to commence🙃
  14. The occasion I was on about was in the 70s. In 1990 I was serving in the RAF in Germany
  15. The majority of fans are annoyed but it’s pretty simple no matter what the fans do or plan to do venkys have no intention of selling until they recoup id say 80/90% of their losses it seems on the above it’s so obvious multiple clubs do the exact same millwall being a good example
  16. SBI is STATE BANK OF INDIA , instrument could be BG(BANK GUARANTEE) or SBLC or any type of promissory of payment ...another bank gives OD or LOAN TO VALUE on this ...spend & milk till exhaust ... declare loss ... SBI Goes after collateral... they will writ of stay from courts... case goes on and on and on and on... budget cuts happening for 2 reasons possible ... restrictions due to mishandling court case or funds dried up (udder is empty) i can't think of IV..... again purely speculative ...my first boss taught me "FOLLOW THE MONEY, YOU'LL FIND THE MOTIVE" E.g inflated agent fees, inflated running cost(kickbacks) or even letting contract lapse so division in next contract agent fees .... i could be imagining all this ..paranoid schizophrenia
  17. I always assumed that given the League's deal with Sky, the club being part of the Sky show and all that they wouldn't actually then have to pay to broadcast Sky at the club. The sort of balancing act decision that a local boozer or sports club has to weigh up not a multi million pound Championship football club.
  18. Start this evening for O'Riordan - score/update On the bench Olson - score/update Both games kick off at 19:45 & are live on Sky Sports +
  19. Today
  20. if you look at norwich, they sold sainz and rowe for big money and have invested in six really good players, they are now promotion candidates we sold smzodics and wharton for big money and invested **** all,we are now relegation material when is the penny going to drop for all fans to start getting really annoyed
  21. Probably a percentage of the money they save !
  22. Hell I’d prefer Bradley f*cking Orr at RB to Montgomery.
  23. Depends whether it's Cheadle in Staffs or Gtr Mcr. Although tbh even if it's the one in Staffs that still barely worth calling a town!
  24. does anyone think venkys really know whats going on???,horrible bunch of scrotes yes but i can`t see them being to bothered about a sky sports subscription tbh, there is definately a hidden agenda with certain figures in the club,to penny pinch on that extent there must be something behind it
  25. Millers face is the giveaway for me. No arguing. Looks like he knows there has been contact.
  26. Loan move to the San Diego was reported a couple of days ago, don't know if it has been confirmed yet. @KentExilewas speculating we might be trying to sell him next summer if the loan goes well, since he wants game time for USA u21s. Agree though, a far better RB than Montgomery
  27. Commenting only to comment on other people’s posting patterns sounds like trolling to me. Why do you think it’s strange for a Blackburn Rovers forum to have a thread about a Blackburn Rovers fan (one of us) who might ‘make it’, having generational talent with the potential to be one of the best midfielders in the world?
