  2. Congratulations on your marriage any chance you could pop a photo on of your shirt I'm considering it for the my home shirt
  3. All in that list bar De Neve he's been good of late and a useful tool running at defenders
  4. Today
  5. Yeh, this oft repeated notion that worse quality football is automatically more physical is silly.
  6. I see taveres is getting a kicking, and I agree from what iv seen don’t think he is good enough but could quite easily say the same about henrikson kargbo gueye de neve id happily sell all of them in January if they were to be replaced by actual championship quality because iv seen enough from them all to know they don’t have it gudjohnson im still on the fence about but really needs to be doing more , its boom or bust at the moment
  7. Didn't feel like we were undone by 3 changes to the side today. It felt like we were undone by careless, amateur transfer business in the summer. Importantly the complete negligence in sanctioning the Hyam sale without a last minute replacement - a player who played all 46 games last season. He should have been under lock and key until another CENTRE BACK came in. If they didn't make it in time, no deal Wrexham... whatever the price. I'm all for selling with 1 year left but they were far too late in the day with their bid. Whoever agreed the decision was sensible and for the good of the club needs firing immediately. The problem is it was likely an agreement between Suhail Pasha, Gestede and Ismael. Idiots the lot of them! They have either severely underestimated the league, miscounted the number of true senior centre-backs or decided to gamble with the future of the club by handing nearly every team in the league an advantage for the first half of the season. It's a farce. Who was Ismael trying to kid at the end of the window that this wasn't an issue? Of course it was going to be and it is already. He's starting Championship games with an attacker at left centre-back. It's insane stuff. Plenty of managers would have their names into other clubs again (Eustace, JDT), MOST WOULD HAVE THREATENED IT ON DEADLINE DAY IF HYAM WENT but he was seemingly part of the plot. Anyone who has watched Rovers enough last past 3 or 4 seasons could have easily predicted that Wharton and Carter would not be around for decent parts of this season. Why would they be? They've got some of the worst injury records in the league. 16 appearances last season for Carter. 0 for Wharton. Zero due to a major injury, a player who struggles to make 25 games a season in a good year and has had multiple career harmful injuries. There's 46 games in a Championship season, sometimes 3 a week....... is our CEO even aware of that? We have a guy called Moussa Baradji at the club to come in and play attacking midfield? Never heard of him. We didn't need him. We needed senior defenders on decent wages! That was clear at the START of the summer. They are asking fans to pay for this. The club is a total circus and it's getting left behind in the division by nearly everyone. Gestede has got to go and whoever else was involved.
  8. Womack & Woamck - Teardrops Being cheeky with that one.
  9. Back in my day, basically before these cunts turned up and started destroying everything, there were people who went round the stands with a bag full of them for sale.
  10. The club does nothing well and hasn't done for 15 years. Supporters treated with contempt. I would complain in writing but I complained about the Telegraph ban and haven't had the courtesy of a reply. Shysters, charlatans, chancers with few if any exceptions; they don't belong here. A captive audience, we slavishly still turn up. An abusive relationship.

  12. The worry is aswell, after this international break, thats when the games really do start piling up. We have a small squad with a lack of depth and quality and this is when it will be really tested. I think Ismael (and I have no confidence in him) needs to decide on our main formation, whereby we minimise the need to have to keep changing system or doing weird shit (like Hedges at centre back, one of the strangest decisions I have seen) when someone becomes unavailable. And due to the imbalanced, poor squad, its about picking the one that has the least glaring weaknesses. I think that has to be 4231. The back 3 has clearly had merit as a short term approach but a bit of unavailability throws it into chaos. If we go to a back 4, I think our best back 4 is Alebiosu, Carter, McLoughlin and Pickering (judgement call at LB) which itself isnt great. It brings the left backs back into the equation and it at least means that we have one player to cover the 2 centre backs and Alebiosu in Miller, especially as Carter is made of glass. If we carry on playing as we are, any minute that any of Carter, McLoughlin, Miller or Alebiosu are unavailable, he will have to come up with strange alternatives to keep a back 3 intact. It would leave us light out wide, but it also provides us with an alternative up front. I dont like going into games knowing that there isnt a striker on the bench that isnt a total shambles and a laughing stock, its not healthy. Ohashi is better than Gudjohnsen but neither is anything stand out in the division, so it also gives you the possibility of swapping on form and not having to keep flogging both.
  13. good,i hope they all end up in prison for fraud or go bankrupt and get shoved in the black hole of calcutta
  14. Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
  15. Where was “135/15” today?
  16. Share price fell 8 per cent on Friday after reporting a trading loss in second quarter.
  17. Small kit detail I've only just noticed. Would of been better to release this on this kit from the start of season rather than being able to go and get it printed on after initial sales
  18. If he or Henriksson offered for the ball in midfield, the CBs wouldn't have to keep playing hopeful 60 yard balls into the forward line..... terrible setup today asking defenders to do things they aren't good enough for. Still major question marks over the manager, whoever signed Tavares and whoever sanctioned the Hyam sale.
  19. I think pears could of done better on that second goal his little rabbit flap was ineffective and no where near the ball
  20. Norwich and Sheffield United, will both improve imo, throw Swansea in the mix too..
  21. Think he's better than that. But even if I didn't, I can get behind the first two attributes .We can't afford (or won't pay for) better technicians, so I'll appreciate the athletic, wholehearted ones.
  22. Miller. Great athlete. Wholehearted. Not a footballer.
  23. I put this on the matchday thread so apologies to anyone who has already seen it but I thought it might sit better here. My contribution to the day 1875 Seventeen gather in a Blackburn pub eyes bright with promise 'This will be our club' Blackburn Rovers, set to thrive Born 1875 In Cotton Town they worked to spin threads of blue and white, that would weave within the generations that come between their dream and now. They wove the fabric of our club, our town. Blue and white shirts of great renown Blue and white ribbons on trophies evince success in every century since. History has never seen a more successful small town team. Those threads through history remind us whatever troubles come to find us.. Stand tall. Be proud. Let this club bind us. Raise our scarves of white and blue, Lift hearts and voices too: 'We Love You Rovers, We Do' Love and prides that still survives Born 1875
  24. jdt was building a fine squad,if the chicken chokers had backed him we`de be in the premier league,im`e certain, that was probably was our last chance of promotion before they sold adam wharton on the cheap and ****** jdt about,we are miles further away from it now and i doubt now it will ever happen
  25. Thought this thread had disappeared after our plucky three wins. But today was back to form, bizarre formation and line-up, permanently clueless manager. Back to 13/2 to go down now. We will probably need another ten wins this season to stay up, so roughly one in every three matches remaining with a few draws thrown in. Doesn't sound too bad, but our home form is really worrying and most teams rely on it to keep them up, we're evidently better away from home. Walking wounded currently with a threadbare weak squad. We have to play so many matches in November and December before the window opens, we need to somehow keep treading water til then. Though we usually botch January windows anyway. I think we're going to be right in this scrap all season. At least one of Norwich and Sheff Utd will improve at some point and skip past us, games against Pompey, Oxford and QPR are going to be six pointers for sure. Strap in. Thanks Rudy, Suhail and Venkys, happy 150th
  26. Did Gardner-Hickman receive his yellow after yet another misplaced Miller pass or is my memory deceiving me? Same as Tronstad on Tuesday...
