  1. Past hour
  2. because paris has an immigrant problem that makes ours seem a tiny dilemma ,anything for a riot, they were at it a few summers ago when the outer suburbs were ablaze inter wer`nt very italian were they, there were massive gaps in their backline for the first two goals
  3. lovely with some wigan caviar
  4. Never heard of that but now I have I want one.
  5. Go and have a listen to his first 2 albums, if you havenโ€™t done already Ups. Greetings from Asbury Park. NJ and The Wild, The Innocent, & the E Street Shuffle. Knowing your musical tastes from reading on here, I think youโ€™ll at least appreciate them. More recently, the Wrecking Ball album was brilliant, Bruce was angry with those robbing bankers, capitalism and the burden being placed on me and you to bail the swines out.
  6. For a little balance, he also was CEO when they went from league 1 to championship. Decent CV, Director of Operations at Liverpool. From my recollection it was the owner who wanted Rooney. Talking of the academy, we also poach from other โ€˜smallerโ€™ clubs and itโ€™s the way of the world. Very disappointing but itโ€™s how the football food chain works ๐Ÿ˜ž
  7. I don't, and I appreciate people's situations and the struggles they have, but there will never be a better atmosphere until people turn up, it stands to reason.
  8. And are a sportswashing project for Qatar
  9. You miss the point here by a large unit of measure.
  10. You can watch them all for free on the stick, and if they're crap you haven't even had to leave the house. AND YET, like others you still choose to buy a season ticket, because no matter how comfy your seat at home and how bad the weather is getting there, you just can't beat that big screen experience.
  11. The pies over here are made with the flaky pastry. It's just wrong. They're alright though. At the end of the day you can't beat a Wigan kebab.
  12. The whole search for a CEO is likely to just be another sham media performance before they appoint Gestede as "no one else wanted the job". It's a funny one as unlike the other positions they fill with nobodies who are totally unqualified and inexperienced, CEO is a position that carries a certain weight to it and a level of expectation as to what powers and responsibilities an individual in that position would have. Anyone we get externally will just be another gravy train rider who is willing to just be a sham CEO and take orders from the guy beneath them.
  13. Just what the feck is the point of our academy if all we are going to do is sell any gems we unearth before the fans have even had opportunity to see them grace the blue and white shirt?! Not interested in, IMO, shite like Buckley and JRC but I do want to see the likes of Dunn, Jones, Wharton etc Sounds like a Rovers' appointment! Just why the feck do we want a CEO who thought Rooney was a good appointment just months after his Brum disaster. I think we really are owned and run by muppets.
  14. They would have already given it Gestede if there wasnโ€™t so much unrest already at the club. Will just drag it out and quietly appoint him in a few months I expect
  15. Today
  16. His choice of wording is the entire reason puppets like you hang on his every word like he has a clue what he's on about. The old fud.
  17. I hope those clubs are as interested in Tijon as we are in various players we are linked with.
  18. Unsurprising. The days of us luring people away from other clubs, even Plymouth Argyle in League One, are gone. I still expect that we will end up with an internal appointment or the remaining stooges stepping up and making do with no CEO. Cost and obedience are the two most important considerations. They will however need a box ticker to ensure the League requirements are all complied with and I have my doubts as to whether the remaining triumvirate have the necessary capabilities to even do that. A bit more to it than wearing a fancy suit, waving your arms around on camera and posting on twitter.
  19. The Alan Nixon propaganda machine gets started up for the summer. No thought as to perhaps that sometimes Nixon may well get things totally wrong. For what its worth, sky sports think that Plymouth CEO is staying.
  20. PSG fans appear to have celebrated by rioting. 2 dead, 190 or so injured and shops looted and set on fire. No idea why it went that way.
  21. I expected you to take a far more strident view re the pasty ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ I fully agree re the teacakes.
  22. Inter embarrassed themselves last night. Heads went down at 2-0 - the other three goals were scored against players going at 60%. I also didn't appreciate Ferdinand trying to paint it as a win for football - PSG have the biggest wage bill in Europe and have spent over ยฃ600m in transfer fees the last two years alone.
  23. Sky Sports News saying nothing in Parkinson to us, he's happy there.
  24. The Head of (formerly work experience) Popcorn, hotdog, ushers and bog cleaning has spoken.
  25. Both wrong. He says Arsenal are interested in Tyjon. He never said he was off to United or Higgins to Arsenal but both clubs were interested in those players. Key word is interested in those players. People problem is they see a link to a player and misread the story whether its an incoming or outgoing
  26. Derby probably need 10 new signings to make top 6 especially next season, not aware of them looking to invest to that extent. Eustace did a good job here but there's no question he had better tools at his disposal than the current Derby squad.
