  1. Past hour
  2. Talking of superstitions, I've worn the gold away shirt for the opening 2 home matches. It will be staying in the drawer next Saturday.๐Ÿ˜€
  3. Wow, you been on the bevs? Nothing wrong with the post at all, certainly doesn't warrant a response like this.
  4. Since there is a pattern, and such a strong one at that, do you accept the club has fallen short in sorting out the contracts?
  5. Chaddy I honestly can't believe your view points on contracts. It's utterly naive, I've never heard anything like it.
  6. Ruben Selles at Sheffield United is the first manager to goโ€ฆnobody (unsurprisingly) guessed thatโ€ฆ๐Ÿ‘€
  7. Three teams in claret and blue to be relegated ?
  8. There is a pattern but also you ignored individual players wishes and can you say any where Rovers fault apart from when contracts talks started?
  9. I agree, yet they are top with 4 wins out of 4, having already beaten Arsenal and Newcastle. If they get into their stride it's going to be another cakewalk for them this season. How did the rest of the division fall so far behind?
  10. I heard Stuart Metcalfe say "Blackburn"...and he was Rovers through and through. I think this is what the yanks would call a nothing burger...
  11. We could always politely as for him back lol
  12. Today
  13. Another loss for an impotent Man U. If what Lee Dixon said on NBC commentary was correct Amorim has won 8 of his 30 odd league games in charge. A blind man can see that his 3-4-3 system doesn't work but he's sticking with it. His defenders can't cover the ground. His midfield players are all on islands, and his strikers are isolated. Also, most of his players aren't any good either which compounds the situation. Ratcliffe may have to lay off a few more staff if Man U's form doesn't improve. Burnley defended very well against Liverpool. Parker played for the draw and almost got it. Daft from Hannibal, but you play good teams you have to concentrate for every minute.
  14. There's very much a pattern, whether the club has done "wrong" remains to be seen.
  15. We pushed West Brom and Brum so.the least I.expect is for us to be competitive. Nice selection dilemmas for VI - Carter and Wharton surely deserve another start and Carter pace is an asset but hard on McLoughlin and Miller. Up front 5 into 4 doesn't go so one of Yuki, Royo, Cantwell, Hedges and Gudjonsson starts on the bench. If he gets on, Sammy has to fight for his place back so I suspect we will be adding to the Ipswich early season draw tally.
  16. The ex-Head of Premier League Referees said it wasn't a penalty and so did my eyes. To quote the great Brian Blessed in Flash Gordon: "Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive".
  17. Wouldn't have sacked Wilder in first place and secondly wouldn't have appointed Selles. Mowbray would want a 5 year project to sort SU and I wouldn't touch him with the proverbial shitty stick - think he's a legend in his own mind only and now a washed-up managerial dinosaur. Wilder is an obvious choice - big difference is they've lost 3 key players in Ahmed, Souza and Moore and signed some dross since Wilder was sacked. Success for them this season would be to hit 60 points. .
  18. Yep, its just a series of individual circumstances and there is no pattern to see here and nothing that the club has done wrong.
  19. As is Coyle's promotion to the PL!!!
  20. Yet you ignored most of the game which we were better team
  21. Cos you ignored the context of each player situation within your argument. Tronstad doesn't want to re-sign cos he wants to go back to Norway. Travis wanted out and go and join Eustace. Dolan was never re-sign here. We probably knew that 18 months ago. Brittain was the biggest surprise for me So based on just that?
  22. It was a penalty against Birmingham. The West Brom ones perhaps but we were really poor that day. Its more the Birmingham one that people are claiming as unfortunate and undeserved whereby it was our own naivety and poor decision making that led to both goals. Especially the 2nd.
  23. Again, you go off on tangents regarding individual players but the fact remains. And obviously regarding Gestede, how he speaks publically. And I am clearly not on my own in thinking that.
  24. Itโ€™s because heโ€™s been part of pro football since being about 8 years old, heโ€™d have been surrounded by pros at the club all saying that. If heโ€™d just been a fan with his Grandad I doubt he wouldโ€ฆ still should though, just sounds wrong with an east Lancs accent.
  25. Daniel Gudjohnsen scored two for malmรธ FF today. Sign him up in january, to play alongside his brother?๐Ÿ˜Œ
  26. Cantwell loves to miss a game with a cold or a niggle. Henriksson will play a lot this season. I think he's a goal scoring #10. Whilst Cantwell likes to drift out wide and create, Henriksson will be looking to get on the end of balls.
  27. Yes we all know that but was Travis ever really going to sign a new contract after Eustace left, probably not and then add his comments he made last week, made it sound like he was always going. I always noticed you avoid the Gestede's question, what is the context behind your comment? A conversation with him in person? based on an interview? what others who met him have told you? etc etc
