I actually think we need to play down the Jack Walker era and focus on how through the 80s we were challenging for promotion to the first division whilst most other small town teams (such as the six fingered creatures) were wallowing in the bowels of the football league. This was all done on a budget of practically nothing and was all 100% down to hard work, dedication and professionalism from those involved. It was this that attracted Jack Walker to buying the club. I'm sick of having "you want to be winning the league again jack walker is dead get over it we are a small town club" bollocks thrown our way. What we achieved in the 80s was entirely down to people who gave a fuck and were willing to put in the effort.

I like Kargbo but think he's still raw. I reckon he still needs a few games to bed himself in. But like you said he's shown attributes that Dolan doesn't have...pace and directness. Kargbo will have to do a lot, to better Dolan work rate though.
