It's classed as a dangerous weapon these days, a waterproof coat, and a bag of monster munchies. -

It's highly likely the match could be called off, a 70% chance of rain all morning, and afternoon on Saturday. -

I don't think you should be allowed to host a Rovers podcast unless you know what a John Bull and a Tea Cake are. -

Great isn’t it . It’s forecasted to piss down on Saturday. My grandson is coming on the train from Liverpool to meet up with me at the station in town. He’d like to bring a few things with him, like maybe a waterproof coat in his rucksack etc. Not everybody lives around the corner or can drive right to the ground. People coming from a fair way off by public transport need to be able to bring something with them. Just another reason not to bother. -
And his natural skill He'll no doubt now be playing with a few players who are at the same skill level or above so no need to be flashy and show off in that environment. If he sticks to the basics then he'll be very good. His work rate was always 100% and I'm happy to see him doing well. He's got to where he has by working hard and never giving up despite being let go by City as a youngster, getting let go by Preston (ha) and not being given a serious offer from Rovers where he'd established himself as a first team player at the age of 23. As Tomphil said, as long as he doesn't end up playing for the clampits then I wish him the best.

I'm not especially well travelled, but I don't think he's having much to do with saloons currently

And don't you dare bring a bag of monster munch either - that'll be seized and you'll face a 3 year ban -

Wish him all the best, always tried his hardest, his temperament was never in doubt. I never understood the vitriol towards him. I wonder if those who used to say , if he wants to go I'll drive him there myself, realised it would be to the Bernabeu rather than Barnsley.

Maybe he thought “ I’m now drinking in the Last Chance Saloon, maybe I better get my finger out “ ? -

It sounds like anybody hoping to carry a waterproof coat in their bag just in case is going to be out of luck given the new policy. -

Let's hope it's not a Norwich omen, they beat us in the last home match. -
The WATR AGM was on the 25th June. 3 or 4 days later a welcome communication came out saying the officers had changed. Nothing has been heard of WATR since. Is WATR and the Coalition still active and operating please?

He could be infuriating at times but you couldn’t fault his effort. It’ll be interesting to see if they can coach the faults in his game out of him, if they do they’ll have a good player on their hands. He was always going to be a better bet than BBD because his willingness to work 100%.

Maybe he struggled with where he was being asked to play, and by that I mean England

Yeah, thought the same myself. It's generally a decent listen, if you can get past the 'fought' (thought) and 'fink' (think) from the LET lad. The second guy, with the southern accent, is a bit annoying though. He tries to use words and phrases that he doesn't actually understand and he'll flip-flop entirely at the slightest challenge of his opinion. The Blackburn End pod is slightly better, though one of them constantly refers to Birmingham as 'the blues'. As a Rovers podcast, you'd expect 'the blues' to be in reference to Rovers. I'm a petty, petty man. -

We've got a yellow weather warning in the Ewood area, for this coming weekend - whatever a 'yellow weather warning' entails. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Andy replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeah, JDT's 'flaw' was not having the quality of players to work with, who could execute his style of play. That said, a few players developed hugely under him. And a few others spoke very highly of his coaching ability and tactics (Szmodics, Wharton, etc). Had he been backed in the transfer window (Undav / O'Brien), we'd have returned to the Prem.
