  1. Past hour
  2. This guy has by most accounts been involved in various capacities since before the wretches even completed their takeover. Two relegations, three near misses, collapses in attendances and income, losses over £200 million, negative publicity, chaos, humiliation, yet it appears he has even more power now than ever before, the latest move being to oust Waggott leaving his little gang in control. It's going to take a lot more than a couple of dodgy interviews or banners at Ewood to shift this bloke unless he gives up of his own volition. The intriguing part will be if he is shifted who the wretches get to replace him because they ain't giving that job and the direct line to just anyone.
  3. Oh this hoodwink stunt had my fingers doing overtime last night, straight to pune HQ
  4. His squads in general are enough to make people mourn the departure of Southgate and that is saying something. It doesnt really matter though as its a non entity of a qualifier against Andorra and a totally pointless friendly. Any players playing in the stupid club world cup should have been left out to have a break and I suspect a few may pull out beforehand.
  5. Surely that trust is now gone, if his TV stunt has now been exposed to the owners?
  6. Shocking that Wharton has been overlooked by tuchel
  7. I still think it's a bit fanciful that Suhail will be leaving any time soon. He is well within the firing line now though.
  8. The emergence of news about Pasha wanting to control what the owners see on TV doesn't really come as a surprise to many who are capable of thinking. It was said to me that Pasha (with the support of Gestede) told the owners that we didn't need to spend and money in January and this was pretty much the tipping point for Eustace. He is said to be the only direct contact with the Punekars and will throw anybody under the bus to protect himself. And as such he has Carte Blanche to tell them anything. He is in a permanent state of self preservation mode and is a controlling individual. The owners are pretty much untouchable for us so the focus should be on him. He doesn't take criticism well but he will have to bear the brunt of it now Waggott has departed. The trust between him and the owners is the only thing he has left now. Once that is broken he will be gone.
  9. He will have!
  10. Today
  11. Our best hope is Waggott hasn't signed an NDA and goes rogue, shining light on just how dysfunctional Rovers are behind the scenes. Sadly this nightmare doesn't end until the authorities step in.
  12. I can't imagine Pasha would have been too happy with this being included in the official highlights from the Wednesday game.
  13. I would be delighted to upgrade from chickens to turki. It won't happen.
  14. So reading that North west business magazine article it sounds like the new model on the horizon is a COO working with Head of Commercial operations to increase increase income. Presumably via corporate stuff, sponsorship, commercial sales etc. So what about the football ? Who runs that the novice Sporting Director ? Haven't they actually twigged yet that it all revolves around the stuff on the pitch, get that right and everything else will follow.
  15. 100% So many tear jerkers lol 42 years old n bottom lip was going
  16. employees, shareholders, owners, etc (anyone with any interest) Personally see the term as meaningless "corpospeak" which is designed to make those who cannot think critically, feel like we are all in this together
  17. Waggott's last act was to arrange 2 pre-season games at Ewood. Foggia and America De Cali.
  18. An absolutely superb series. A real love letter to the 80s imo.
  19. Summer recruitment will be stopped, Nothing will happen with incomings until August I reckon. I've only ever seen Chaddy say it, all the years he has been on here he's never used that word and all of a sudden in the last couple of months he say's it on every other post!
  20. Expect PR overdrive in the next couple of weeks with stories of how Waggott was a problem and poor old Venkys have decided to address it. No mention that they employed him for 7.5 years . The operation now will be to shield the Indians from hassle or attention so looks like Rudy or AN Other are about to be thrown forward as the latest human shield. Broughton was doing that quite well until he actually wanted to do his job and build something which was no good at all to these people. Paul Senior another, skilled in talking and putting on a show to distract from the Venky shitshow, only lasted a few months however, then they hit the jackpot with Uncle Tony. Who's next...Rudy already starting off on the back foot after the laughably bad interviews a couple of months ago.
  21. I believe so! Ralph Macchio (?) Watched a bit of the cobra kai series (it's an absolute cheese fest ngl) and the nostalgia in it hits so hard with old film members coming back to star or cameo. Have you seen it?
  22. Leicester haven't yet rejoined the Football League so I can only assume the authorities will threaten them with rejection and expulsion into non league. Of course not, they'll be welcomed back into the Championship, allowed to use their parachute money to run a massive wage bill and be favourites for automatic promotion again, just like last time. The system is a joke and ripe for abuse.
  23. I mean who would care if some firm offered a few hundred grand for the women's team ? I doubt anybody would bat an eyelid in fact knowing the finances most fans would say good at least it leaves the club a few extra quid in the pot. So this 'fans would be angry' rubbish doesn't cut it at all it is imo yet another excuse for the ownership who have rebuffed even the mere suggestion of outside investment at every turn. Also happy to sit back and see big local company stand sponsorship withdraw without speaking to them and also happy to have no shirt sponsorship for a season. This blame the fans for everything narrative is now becoming a bit tedious seeing as they've never taken a blind bit of notice for 15 years in fact actively sticking their fingers up to us at times.
  24. Under SwagHail AND Broughton they couldn't get twp incoming signings involving good money over the line. Benefit of doubt says they made cock ups although a lot would say there was more to it than that. However it still points to how amateur and odd it can still be behind the scenes at Rovers and now there is no real DoF nor experienced administrator in a CEO. To go from that to the shadow boss and his tea boy is a recipe for disaster imo regardless of feelings towards Waggot. They got away it seems with the training ground loopholes but what next if they are flailing around looking for short term money ? It's those kind of cock ups that can become very expensive and lead to points penalties that's why clubs have to pay people like Waggot in the first place.
  25. Almost? Has been for some time now.
