  1. Past hour
  2. Nah mate. Youโ€™ve only got to have watched him and listened to his coaches to know that his ceiling is VERY high. If heโ€™d been fit, like Bucko and not hitting the heights then Iโ€™d have happily waived him off. But for a million quid, why not just loan him for a season? If he can stay fit and score goals, weโ€™ve got a great lad coming back to us next summer. If he flops, and / or continues to breakdown, then heโ€™s had his chance. Like I said, this is the one Iโ€™m gonna stick my nick out in and say, well regret!
  3. Shame to see him go, but injuries have held him back and he needs to be playing games. Peterborough are pretty spot on with their striker recruitment so could sell him on in a few years for profit. Glad weโ€™ve got the protection of add ons and the sell on percentage.
  4. Im happy to sell him. Good fee for a player whose development has been blown apart by serious injuries and that question mark will remain over him. When he did play which seems a long time ago. He clearly wasnt close to being Championship standard. Maybe he will be in time but a fresh start is best for all.
  5. Bit like Gilzenan in a lot of ways. Potential but injuries just held him back, good luck to him anyway. Notice Gilzenan wasn't in the Grimsby squad the other night against Utd. so presumably still injured
  6. You've answered your own question. The lad has been injured for the past 18months, he's nearly 22, and when he has played, he's been bullied. League 1 will be right for him and if he does turn out to be good, we have a sell on.
  7. Middlesboro according to SKY have sold a midfielder to Southampton for ยฃ15m . We did a great deal for Wharton , didn't we ?
  8. Harry Leonard - Top player, injuries have blighted his career so far but if he can shake them off, has a VERY high ceiling! Iโ€™m gonna stick my neck out and say this will be the sale we will live to regret. We shouldnโ€™t be selling him. Arggghh
  9. Sad to see Harry go, but the best for both parties. Hope he thrives and smashes it!
  10. Difficult to remember a window as crazy as this in my time watching Rovers. Think we are nowhere near finished yet either.
  11. Let us see IF the new striker is better , than Leonard . Rarely happens with this regime .
  12. 2-1 Rovers and i wanna see the helicopter (not that one...) to win the game
  13. Always take the kids something then begrudgingly pay for pint
  14. Sorry to see Leonard go. Thought there was good potential there.
  15. Good move and correct decision IMO...Never getting a game here, especially if we're bringing in another attacker.
  16. All the best to the lad. Hope he smashes it!
  17. Good deal. getting 7 figures for him, Buckley and JRC isnโ€™t bad.
  18. 1M bid with add ons accepted for Leonard, poor decision that very talented player. Very good signing for Peterborough this.
  19. Now, Martin at Rangers is funny! He needs to stay on a bit longer
  20. At least its better than some clubs. Stockport refuse to let you take any food and drink into their ground. Their prices made ours look a real bargain!
  21. I wasnโ€™t even joking Iโ€™d pull him here on a skateboard ๐Ÿคฃ
  22. Man, I remember when we signed this guy. I was on holiday with the mrs, perched up on a bar stool to grab a drink and they had sky sports news on, saw that we'd signed him and I was absolutely buzzing. Luckily the mrs doesn't follow football at all, so I don't think she remembers/cares that I old her he was going to be a class signing.
  23. Nothing posted on court website yet. Usually takes a day or two to catch up.
