It would seem that the Rovers cannot write a statement without there being a fault in it. They have said that Morishita has dropped to the bench in East Lancashire. It is a long way to Leicester if we need to make a substitute. -
Hes totally out of touch with modern football, hes not managed for a while since a few really poor jobs he did most recently in his career. At the end of day, Celtic might go on to do well but their team is built on resources well beyond anything else up there. What is this nonsense about "knowing the club?" Its just generic cliches and rubbish. Why dont all clubs just appoint former legends? Surely we should appoint David Dunn next as he knows the club, what it means to the supporters and whatever similar rubbish you want to throw at it? Rangers missed a trick not appointing Gazza.
-
I think its a smart move by Celtic appointing Martin O'Neil. He understand the club and he has bought staff who understand the club and what its means to the fans. That was my point when I suggested Barry Ferguson to be the Rangers manager

Pathetic start to the winter’s cricket by England and does not augur well for the Ashes If the batsmen don’t sort themselves out there’ll be another whitewah
-
Steven Croft appointed as the Lancs head coach permanently

You'd probably get good odds at the bookies for a Rovers/England double win - Today

One of the best newspaper headlines ever! Just brilliant.
-
The batting needs to sort itself out sharpish. 1 to 5 just about got 30 runs between them yesterday. It’s not looking good so far. At least the tail wagged a bit.

Cantwell seems to miss a lot of games with vague ‘injuries’, probably more to it that they don’t want to reveal for personal reasons. -
Liverpool will come good again, but they haven't got much time to do so with regards to the title race. Personally, can't stand them. Burnley Liverpool Celtic All 3 are off the cunt scale when it comes to football clubs.

Championship Season 25-26
Lancaster Rover replied to arbitro's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Totally agree. The whole FM stuff is lazy and disingenuous. The lad moved from Belgium to bloody Myerscough at 17, had his B license by 20 and was an analyst in pro football (Belgium 2nd Divisionn) by 21. People talk about him like he was playing FM and got plucked from obscurity and parachuted into the Reims job -

Very weird that Cantwell has a similar thing to Kargbo, innocuous knock that seems a short term thing then all of a sudden out for a fair bit longer. Have to wonder if we taken a cheaper route in not diagnosing the issue with both and had them playing and made it worse. - Yesterday

I wanted us too get windass when he was available for free after he left Wednesday but at rovers we don’t pay the going rate for championship footballers 🙂

Think we've got lost somehow. Doesn't matter. 👍🏻 -
Following on from beating City last week the under 21's were again impressive in beating United 4-0. Although United were reduced to ten men towards the end of the second half I firmly believe Rovers would still have won comfortably had United had a full compliment. Three up at half-time was terrific but I had a quick look at the stats and United had 79% possession which, as stats often are so misleading. I thought it was a big part of the Rovers game plan to let United have plenty of the ball in non threatening areas which worked to a tee. That, coupled with an intelligent press was a fundamental part of Rovers tactics. The goals in the first half were all team efforts with several players involved in each build up and the team effort was once again really good. The second half was a bit of a damp squib as Rovers once again allowed United to have plenty of the ball but we still created the best chances. In truth Michalski didn't have a shot to save such was our overall dominance. On the night I thought Frank Vare was our best player. He reminds me of Adam Wharton in many aspects and if he turns our to be half as good as will still have a player on our hands. Darragh Tuffy and his staff also deserve praise (as they did last week) for a really well executed game plan.

Some result for Wrexham, checked the score and it was 1-0 to Coventry but a hat trick in the last 10 minutes from Keiffer Moore meant they won 3-2. He’s someone I wanted us to go for a while back, ruthlessly effective in this league
