  1. Past hour
  2. Twaddle. His first 2.5 season were good.He was arguably the right man at the right time.He just stayed too long.
  3. Given he's only on an 18m contract, he'll be sold in the summer to generate a fee.
  4. A certain Mr Kean also did on more than one occasion, hopping on a plane very soon after he was appointed if my memory serves me correctly.
  5. Short contracts are the order of the day in L1. That's what Venkys are gearing up for now.
  6. They all fucked off 10 minutes before the end of the league cup final. We were only winning 2-1 in a game that was end to end. Shit fanbase.
  7. When Eustace joined Derby last year, they were on 29 points and Rovers were on 45 points. Roughly 31/32 games played across the division. Fast forward a year with pretty much the same amount of games played - Derby are on 45 points, and Rovers are on 29 points.
  8. Wasn’t TM the only manager that met them?
  9. Mowbray believes that had his character been different and he been more difficult in transfer dealings, he may have delivered a return to the Premier League. Mowbray said: “I’d been to India, sat in front of them and told them I wouldn’t go back, and asked for more money. I could’ve and said we’re second in the league, but I never did it; it’s not in my personality. It’s probably why I’ve spent most of my career in the Championship. “I do wonder whether I’d have been a bit nastier; if I’d moaned to owners or stamped my feet, I might have won more. But it’s not in my values; I didn’t feel I could go back.”
  10. It's not spinning the same thing at all. 2 entirely separate incidents. The "Calm down" comments came immediately after promotion from League 1. From Mowbray himself, dampening expectations. By your own admission he's said on a podcast he didnt feel in general that he he could ask for extra money which is a ridiculous stance for a manager to take. Waggott also told someone I know in "The Rothwell window" there was a substantial one off war chest available which matched the promotion bonuses on offer which WERE actually publicised in the LT. Waggott could have course have been lying, but presumably the bonus offers were genuine as they were publicised, and if the Club did have a war chest available, you wouldnt have expected them to divulge how much it was.
  11. This tosser wouldn't have got anywhere near Ewood Park under an ownership and management team that even slightly resembled competency. He's an awful manager and a complete dick head. His numerous disparaging remarks towards the club and fans, whilst he was here none the less, should make any supporter of this club want to kick him up the arse all the way down Livsey Branch Road.
  12. Only just seen it, they're goal looked very offside to me. Add it to the list Val
  13. Norton cuffey now gone to Inter. Think that's the trigger for Alebiousu. When's Litherland fit?
  14. cant see us buying anyone else, only selling, alabiousi will deffo be off, only chance of him staying is if his hamstring tweak from yesterday is more serious than it appears
  15. He has weird principles and I agree he should have. But its totally different from actively declining transfer funds which seems to be a bit of a myth.
  16. Well he calmed them down alright. They’ve been in a coma since then.
  17. Be odd if true that we're in for Finn Stevens, 2 players from St Pauli, same as we got de neve and alebiuso from that Belgium club. I see an article that cadamartari is closer.. if they were selling they'd wait til last min surely. We need a CM desperately in my opinion
  18. I have slept (and had had many disappointments) since then! But I would guess 2021? I know he expressed disappointment in January 2022, when he said he was blocked from letting Rothwell go to Bournemouth and replacing him with Dembele. I would say the turning down Venky's funding claim was before that. He actually referred to it a few years later, on that podcast with Big Sam. At the time, I thought it sounded like he didn't want the pressure/ expectation, but that is only a guess.
  19. What proper manager does that? It was his job to win games not look after the owner's money for them.
  20. He has definitely said that he never felt like he could demand more money. Which is different. He also I think said that he had to calm down the owners, but that seems to have been spun to him turning down transfer budgets which he didnt say.
  21. dapo is the cheap option, rather than spend a bit of money on the lad from motherwell or cadamarteri, they`ve gone for someone who has`nt played for months and will likely be fit by time we are relegated,on a positive note,he could be ok in league one
  22. They are preparing for the Championship in the same way Rovers are preparing for League 1 £50M striker out, £7M striker in
  23. That Wigan team was nowhere near our team
  24. When? Rough idea of the season Len?
