  1. Past hour
  2. Bumped into Rick Wakeman yesterday…
  3. That's us out the running then! Trying to think of the last time Rovers signed a player when there were other clubs in for him?
  4. Football has fans not audiences (or it used to anyway).
  5. And it works. Because it had us and Birmingham on track for the play offs on a limited budget and shambles behind the scenes. Simple question, requiring one word answer: Would you prefer it if decisions were being made by Eustace or the current lot (Gestede)?
  6. In fairness, nobody forced you to create an account, or log on. They were your decisions.
  7. A signing that seems stranger and more pointless by the day.
  8. We all know what Ismael said. Has anyone forget this? No. You can hold your hands and say you were wrong about this.
  9. For me, football sold its soul when clubs broke away from the Football League to form the Premier League. With each passing year the game seems to move further and further away from the game I was brought up watching 60 odd years ago. Smaller clubs are penalised for breaking rules whilst the likes of City are charged but never really brought to book - look at what they've spent this summer whilst supposedly in breach of financial regulations. The financial gap between the Premier League and the rest of the Football League is now so huge that very few clubs, even if they get promoted, are able to survive for more than a season. Of course, those clubs then come down with huge amounts of money and are at an immediate advantage over the rest of the Championship. Sky tried - and failed - to make to closing weeks of last season sound thrilling. We knew who'd won the League and the three relegated clubs long before we got to that stage. The so called 'excitement' revolved around who finished fifth! The fact that Tottenham Hotspur, who finished just above the relegation zone, qualified for the 'Champions' League says it all. The game as many of us knew it is long gone. Perhaps it's fitting that Sky continues to turn it into more of a circus than it already is.

  11. It's happens whether F1 or Cricket(sometimes) or NBA now, why not see if it can work in football as it does in those sports. They are speaking to players who have come off not head coaches during a game like the NBA does.. I don't see it pandering but more interact with the audience whether here or overseas
  12. Arguably a “proper halved shirt” is the Grasshoppers Zurich one. I want Blackburn Rovers wearing a proper Rovers shirt & that has reversed halves & ideally halved sleeves…see my avatar for details..
  13. You keep saying this as a response to pretty much everything, relevant or otherwise. I was saying that Ismael wanted 90% done by pre season which was never happening.
  14. What’s the latest with coalition action?
  15. Use the ratings in the BRFCS Match Centre…😉
  16. Today
  17. Connor O'Riordan has bene loaned to Doncaster in League 1 (3rd tier) for the season
  18. The bloke seems so mild mannered, its hard to imagine him falling out with anyone.
  19. Just not a proper Blackburn Rovers shirt.
  20. So you are happy to be pandering to an overseas audience by using a gimmick to reach out to them? For me it's just razzmatazz and has no place in our game.
  21. This is another good idea and I’m in agreement with you. I do think a pool of ideas, from either this site, or supporters in General will help to turn this into a real event. It just an idea I have floated to turn the 150th anniversary in general or the Derby game a real opportunity to expose this ownership and give us the stage to do so.
  22. Hope there's a tifo made or something more than the tunnel flags we want Ronnie Clayton and Bryan Douglas statues!
  23. So the shirt is a proper B&W halved shirt?
  24. Two reasons it will be a pile of shit… There are no interviewers with the ability to ask any real questions - it will be a load of nonsense like ‘I guess you’re disappointed to be subbed?’ Player media training means any answer given will be what they’ve been told to say not what they really think. Because of this, every interview will end up also most identical in its content. In the meantime, instead of witnessing this, we could have been (outrageous thought I know) been continuing to watch the match.
  25. Although we will never forget jack and we will always sing his name, we really need a fresh start at Ewood. These owners need to leave. They've no idea what they have done to this town. There's little to no buzz anymore. Saturdays hurrying to get into town before Blue n White armies stretch the width of Livesey Branch Road and Bolton Road, local shops busy and businesses thriving as the beating heart of Blackburn passes by their doors. People mid week, proud to wear their shirts as they nip to get a paper. Workplaces full of football chatter, banter and endless reminiscing. Everything came to gri ding halt when these bungled us out of the Premier league. We're the jewel in the Lancastrian crown. The Famous Blue and White halves and Rose Crest. SELL THE CLUB GIVE US OUR SANITY BACK
  26. No surprises, let's see what it like before we judge it. Works in other sports so why not football
