  1. Past hour
  2. Mike, annoyed by him leaving at the time. Now? Moved on aged ago. Did I booed him yesterday? No I didn't. Did I booed BBD? No I didnt Did I clapped Weimann when he warmed up? Deffo after his worldie against that lot. Some fans booed Eustace and BBD, that's they choice.
  3. 100% ...All standing in line, facing the same way, as the ship sinks to the bottom of the sea and for the sake of the proverbial ha'pworth of tar. That last minute sale of Dom Hyam so sums up this rotten Rudy Getede/Suhail era. Yesterday's first half shit show was engineered in the last transfer window. Wharton and Carte?-we all knew and that makes it so much harder to bear...
  4. You just need to understand a big percentage of match goers, they by and large aren’t interested in ‘off the field’ stuff. They just want to ‘get behind the club’. They see a manager that left for a club in a similar position in the league and they can’t comprehend it over ‘well, he’s greedy, boo, hiss 🐍!’ They don’t put two and two together as to why so many players and managers want to get away, they are just ‘disloyal’. They furthermore see dissenting chants as also not ‘getting behind the club’, though in reality that is what the dissenters are doing as we are the club and want better for it instead of meekly accepting this regime’s downsizing of it.
  5. That’s what you get when you go looking for proven experienced talent at this level and not bargain basement signings. He’s been around the block long enough to be all those things. How he’d go on with our corners is another story.
  6. That’s my thinking about him but it’ll be interesting to see how he does back at Brighton.
  7. Re: the bit in bold. We have had a manager under these owners who literally claimed that fans had spiked his drinks, to try and avoid a drink-drive charge. I think a lie over the timing of an approach from a club by a matter of two days isn’t something worth getting annoyed about.
  8. We’ve been lied to by this regime so many time. Eustace lying about the day he was approached doesn’t bother me, ultimately if he was backed and given what he wanted to get us promoted he’d still be here but Rudy and pasha didn’t want him here and probably couldn’t wait to see the back of him. Pair of morons
  9. Agree with all the comments about Doku, he was class today, best I think I’ve ever seen him play. Thought bar his shooting, Nico O’Reilly was a class act at left back, too.
  10. He clapped us at pride park last season and wished us the best and hoped we’d get promoted but he still got absolute dogs abuse. Don’t blame him if I was him I’d of shoved it in their faces. Should have directed the blame at pasha, venkys and Rudy 🤦‍♂️ (the real snakes)
  11. Today
  12. And that would have been before the improved new TV deal for the Championship. Edit: MP beat me to it.
  13. With the new TV deals in recent years I think the reduction in revenues would be a lot more now.
  14. What absolute tosh. Eustace (I think) had Birmingham in the play off positions when he was sacked there, had us in the play off positions when the management forced him out here and already has Derby within striking distance of the play offs. There's a bit of a pattern there........ I get the rivalry aspect but personally Id save the derision for ex coaches who were crap for us. So by the same token I guess you'd say we should have been waving plastic snakes (if they made them in those days) at Furphy, Lee, Smith, Kendall, Mackay, Dalglish, Hughes etc?
  15. Last time we were relegated to L1 our turnover dropped by slightly more than our wage bill did (£5.9 million vs £5.2 million).
  16. So frustrating! It seems that the Venky regime's biggest ally ramains the disunity / lack of leadership in the fanbase. To hear and see people falling into the diversion trap of blaming the likes of Eustace (and Travis,) rather than raging against Suhail and Gestede makes me want to weep. Wanna buy a plastic snake, anyone? FFS!
  17. The club ie the owners and board were at fault for far more than that.
  18. When I've seen him on TV in the past he's generally looked bright but I thought he wasn't quite top class in that there was a real lack of end product in terms of final ball and/or scoring. Thought he looked the real deal today though. How long did Salah get a new deal for? With the benefit of hindsight that looks like it could have been one of the most expensive mistakes ever. I'd be trying to shunt him off to Saudi pronto in January.
  19. Interesting comment given my comments were I said both sides were to blame here. My comment Eustace lied to the fans over when the Derby's approach was made, and that we were a family and in this together. Rovers was at fault for certain things like contract extension or not bringing Thomas-Asante into Rovers last January or being slow to react to Derby's approach and allowing him to take the Wolves game
  20. ‘The club’ being Rudy Gestede, Suhail and the Rao family. Obviously people that deserve blind allegiance.
  21. I get that but to say that its purely a footballing decision when youve got a potential big pay increase and a location change is blatantly untrue. As a football decision I think you can make an argument either way. At Wolves, its guaranteed instant Premier League football, the only way he gets that. Expectations are very low, he wont get loads of blame if they go down. If he pulls off survival, and Burnley and Leeds are in danger, hes a miracle worker. Assuming they go down, theyd be big favourites, big resources and a good chance of then gaining some momentum. If he got sacked before then, it wont damage his reputation too much if at all. At Boro, they are fighting with a lot of teams for a top 2 place. Couldnt say its a likelihood they go up, less than 50% chance for sure. Play offs is more likely, and is obviously a lottery. Gets them up either way, big reputation boost but they arent a stand out team so I would say more chance they dont and his reputation is unchanged. He is bitter about Eustace because its the only way to divert blame away from the real culprits because he doesnt want to criticise the club.
  22. What would you have preferred he said just before an important Cup tie? "Well yeah (y'know) frankly I've had enough of working for these tossers, I want clarity on my own future and those of our key players and have had no joy so far. If I can't get it then I think my long term future would be better served by moving to Derby." I can't believe you're so hung up about him telling a white lie. If anything you should be annoyed at the Club for allowing him to stay in charge for that particular game as they clearly had no intention whatsoever of acceding to his wishes or even attempting to meet him halfway as "Project transition" was clearly in the offing.
  23. What a player Doku is, almost unplayable today. He probably wont even start their next match though with Pep.
  24. Yeah, this is correct. Other EFL club loans can only be amended during transfer windows. Those restrictions don't apply to non-league clubs. So I'd fully expect to see CO'R back in January.
  25. Completely agree. Terrible decision. I think there's a argument to be had that the law should be that if you're stood in an offside position you're off but unfortunately that catches someone stood on the far side of the pitch etc. So I've no problem with the law as currently drafted and as such the goal should have stood.
  26. Thanks, at least you do Most deffo. I wouldn't say bitter but annoyed he lied when he approach and how it was done. I didnt booed him yesterday either. Tho Rovers should have managed the situation better
