I’ve always thought the LT were pretty sympathetic to the club and on the occasions they have been critical it has been entirely deserved. They are not a mouthpiece for the club ultimately. Feel for EJ as he has to thin line the tread between keeping the club onside and reporting the actual events which inevitably reflect poorly on the club. I hope the LT support him as he has a young family and doesn’t deserve to lose his job.

I suspect Rovers will back down over the next 7 days (they worded it as a 'suspension'). Jackson will then be under pressure to toe the line, and suspect the LT bosses will inform him to do so.
