  1. Past hour
  2. Just not good enough are we? Wood is a sad loss but its like us relying on Carter. Even our catching has been embarrassing compared to their's. We just don't have the same competitive instinct.
  3. I'm in that situation Gav. These days I take a friend of mine in his late 70s who has been coming to Ewood since the late 50s but is now almost blind - he gets headphones from the club to listen to the game. He loves to come but has not been able to come since I think the first Ipswich game this season for sometimes his health and then his wife's. He's coming today. If there is a call to boycott the Watford game in January I will have difficulty complying if he wants to go.
  4. It’s telling that despite having arguably our best day of the series so far we are still going to lose the test by a couple of hundred runs…
  5. Exactly. A scandal that is being perpetrated in full view of those who should be ensuring it doesn't happen. Someone, somewhere has information that would blow the doors off. It is waaaay past the time for them to step forward, in the name of decency, propriety and fairness to the bona-fide supporters of Blackburn Rovers. When the club has folded will be too late, but that is clearly the trajectory that these arseholes have us on, as evidenced by the gathering of leaches and bottom feeders that flit irritatingly around the carcass settling in the deep dark waters of footballing obscurity. VENKYS OUT!
  6. I can turn the heating off and open a window if you think that would be more appropriate 😇
  7. Still no respose to the Coalition letter...did we send it by Pigeon Post? They really do not give a fcuk.
  8. It's just a new form of excuse that doesn't hold water at all. It might if the crowd were on the players back or protesting all the time but they haven't been. Also this team can play away in front of various sized away crowds and win. If we look at the lost home games played the flaws come in very similar fashion, same players making same errors and same subs and late tactics contributing to upsetting the rythmn and conceding late. Add in missed chances by guys who should put them away and it all adds up to being absolutely nothing to do with the crowd, or lack of it.
  9. How much do you think he will be backed with in the transfer market?
  10. No point hating the bailiff - your sofa isn't going home to them
  11. Today
  12. As you were posting I was amending my figures to include this 👆
  13. Apologies for quoting myself: Using the same formula, you’d need to near enough double the £22.95 million to get the training ground included… Of course any buyer could argue the value of the STC should be without the assumption of planning permission. 🤔🧐
  14. Crawley is just another who doesn’t have a clue where his off stump is and when and when not to leave the ball. His Test average as an opener speaks for itself
  15. When it comes to Crawley, one swallow doesn’t make a summer….
  16. Plus the STC would be a separate sale.
  17. If our owners had not spent 15 years decimating the club, the crowds would still be there Ismael is the least of our problems, and with the current clown show running the club, whoever replaces him will certainly be cheaper, as a result of that, probably be even worse
  18. Double that turned up for the game against Derby County and created a good atmosphere, then the team stank the place out. As much as we all love the club, people need to stop linking the size of crowds to player performances, it doesn't make a difference.
  19. Turn your angst against the Owners destroying our Club.
  20. I dread the day, when de neve is made captain. Time to hang up your boots.
  21. Not everybody are based in Sweden, how do you expect a team to be motivated, with 7 or 8 thousand turning up. If I boycott Ewood, it will be a Ismael out protest.
  22. I'm just fuming at the moment, as to what's happening to Blackburn Rovers.
  23. We all might need to be, before too long. That, or the football equivalent of morphine. VENKYS OUT!
  24. Yup - back on the managerial scrap heap before too long. The FACT is that none of the recent managerial incumbents have been supported by the ownership even when the club was (often miraculously) in a decent position to kick on in January for a push towards play-offs or automatic promotion. How the process will operate with the club dangerously poised over the trap door at the other end of the table remains to be seen, but if last summer's chaotic and confusing clusterfuck is continued, I think we are in for a very bitter and disappointing time, come the January sales. The signs are all there: Talk of recalling junior players from lower league loans to cover holes in the senior squad The manager making ridiculous noises about forgoing signings so the club can afford the alternative of giving the pitch a facelift Zero (nada, niet, zilch, sod all, nuthhhhhin) from the club about plans to strengthen the squad from outside The relative prominence being given to U18, U21 performances in club 'news' (although that might just seem more prominent because there is feck all to celebrate from the senior squad perspective) No ambition, no strategy, no clear plan, no character and (critically) NO MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE at the club. It all adds up to one thing, and one thing only - Robinson fucking Crusoe. I despise the Indian fuckwits and their knobhead two-faced incompetent henchboys. VENKYS OUT!
