  1. Past hour
  2. Loan deal makes sense due to the injury concerns. So that means there’s money for a permanent winger signing? Right!?
  3. “It’s going to take time” because you have plenty of time to adapt yin the championship don’t you and the fella ain’t lasted more than a year in a job
  4. No he doesn't. Just done his Rovers interview in French which had to be translated. Tried English first few words but switched to French
  5. Things are far from ideal. Venkys are a mess. However this board is abit overboard with the meltdown. Travis has been offered a better deal somewhere else. As bad as it is, we can’t match it and have to get a fee. We haven’t got a choice. As a replacement we’ve signed our number 1 target. Concerns over fitness so we’ve done a loan with option to buy. That is sensible business. Less risk for the club. Loan with options to buy is the optimal way to do business. I don’t back the board. But I like VI and I can see the teams he’s trying to build. It’s going to take time and I hope us fan will have the patience to see it come through - as frustrating as the last few weeks have been. I just feel we are abit reactionary. WestBrom we weren’t great, but it was a very even game and we had a pen not given. Birmingham we should have won - it was a good performance. Bradford was admittedly a shocker but it happens. Our club is a mess. We deserve better. But we don’t need to find the negatives in every single thing. As much as it is a buzzword, we are in transition ATM, I will be judging the team and window over September/October when things take shape
  6. He was clearly being sarcastic. We have/have had enough snakes to start a serpentarium according to some.
  7. Hopefully not but another tool in the box, I'm guessing a loan striker will be on the cards
  8. Allegedly back in their father's time the Governor of Pune carved up all the land in and around Pune to their father and another couple of local business men. As such they own much of the land and buildings in and around Pune which is where their real wealth comes from. The opinions I've heard are that as such when someone looks at their Companies and says they're worth £2 billion or £4 billion or whatever, far from overstating their wealth it's vastly understating it. I've never seen anything official to confirm or refute this, would be interesting to hear from those with local knowledge as to whether they think this is true or an old wives tale.
  9. Is this Josh Knight if so he has gone to Portsmouth
  10. Think it's a sign of a desperate journalist who sits uncomfortably with fan scrutiny - what normal person swears on their child's life about a transfer fee!?
  11. Can hoof the ball up to Gueye all they want, the fella can't time his jumps properly and is more likely to elbow a defender in the face than connect with the ball.
  12. Hoof...... You never know we might be able to start defending set pieces.
  13. The only path we are heading is to League One 😭
  14. Was this the latest installment of the never ending "Operation get restrictions removed?" I've lost track. Venkys probably slipped the judge a couple of grand to go away for the weekend to save on the alleged £25k per hearing legal fees. DISCLAIMER: That's a joke for the avoidance of any doubt.
  15. Travis, Britain, Batth, Wiemann, Dolan, etc are not snakes. They've been managed out. Good work from the club though because snakes fits the narrative it's the players/manager's fault and deflects the attention away from the shit show.
  16. The hope now has to be, now almost all the players who didn't want to play for the manager spreading bad vibes everywhere have been shipped out... This questionable manager has got the types of players in he wants to work with and it yields results. A win tomorrow with some good performances from the new boys will really lift spirits. There is a massive amount of pressure on Gestede because it's clearly his and his teams approach to a trading club of finding unproven European gems. If it fails... His career in the board rooms of football SHOULD be dead.
  17. yeh, I'd seen that. Was hoping that the amazing members of the board might know a way 😊
  18. Higher transfer fees? Wasn't it just over a million quid? The option to buy does protect us as we have a fix fee sorted so if we choose to make the deal permanent nothing other clubs can do about it.The players terms will also be agreed Him singing a new deal with the Swiss club protects them...Raya signed a new deal with Brentford before signing for Arsenal on loan
  19. Ah so this is the new 'model' - fascinating to witness it unfolding before our eyes. Sell our captain, academy developed lynchpin and leader of the side, outstanding fitness record, to a league rival for an undervalue, then replace him with the loan signing of a bloke who has been in Switzerland with very serious fitness concerns. Sustainable? No. Sensible? No. A huge gamble? Yes. Please can those still oblivious to what is going on here wake up and smell the coffee. They're juggling the club's future and league status, playing games, earning %s and sending us on a very dangerous path.
  20. I’ve not heard of this, can you explain what happened? Cheers
  21. Nope, I didn’t foresee it being listed so quickly - lucky for them or I would have been furious 😁😁
