  1. Past hour
  2. yep Although A predominantly left-sided player, with the flexibility to operate anywhere down the flank as well as in more advanced attacking areas, De Neve adds pace, athleticism, energy and versatility to the Rovers ranks. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/june/10/rovers-conclude-dion-deal/
  3. if PNE had Ismeal they'd be towards the bottom end.
  4. How can he say he was wrong when the season isn't over ?
  5. You know full well you predicted that for this season but never mind. No shame in admitting you were completely wrong. Yes I am missing Eustace strangely enough because he left us in 6th or 7th and the current apology for a Head Coach has us in 20th.
  6. Academy recruitment team "enhanced" Rovers are investing in the future of the club’s youth development pathway with the expansion of the Academy and Emerging Talent Recruitment Department. The strategic growth includes the creation of three new positions – Assistant Head of Academy Recruitment, Recruitment Analyst and an Emerging Talent Scout responsible for France and Africa. Long-serving Rovers staff Michael Cribley (Head of Academy Recruitment) and Chris Brankin (Academy Recruitment Operations and Pre Academy Manager) have now been joined in the department by Finn O'Leary (Assistant Head of Recruitment), Sean Cookson (Academy Recruitment Analyst) and Raphael Sherrer (Scout Emerging Talent France and Africa). These key additions will significantly enhance Rovers’ ability to identify and attract promising young players both locally and internationally. Rovers’ Head of Academy, Paul Gray, said: “Strengthening our Recruitment Department is a vital investment in the future of our Academy. “While our priority will always be to identify and support the very best local talent from the North West, expanding the team allows us to widen the net in a smart, targeted way, across the UK and abroad. “The additions of an Assistant Head of Academy Recruitment, a dedicated Recruitment Analyst and an Emerging Talent Scout covering France and Africa give us greater reach, sharper insight and a more proactive approach to finding players who fit Blackburn Rovers and our values. “By building greater capacity and expertise, we’re ensuring we stay ahead of the game and continue to bring in young people with the potential to thrive here.” It was a proud moment for the Academy on Friday night, as Rovers Under-18s produced an outstanding performance to defeat Southampton 2-1 in the FA Youth Cup, and there will be another notable milestone to celebrate when Rovers face Middlesbrough on Boxing Day, as it will mark 750 consecutive league games with an Academy graduate named in the matchday squad.
  7. Arctic Monkeys- Do I wanna know?
  8. We did finish above Derby. Well above. We finished 7th, they scraped survival. Still missing him, bless. You'll get over it.
  9. Today’s words of wisdom from one of Venky’s pages… #OperationEmptyEwood #SellTheClub
  10. And it has worked out, that at championship level, he is neither.
  11. The Zombies - I Don’t Want To Know
  12. Today
  13. How's your prediction we'd finish above Derby looking?
  14. I'm pretty sure De Neve was advertised as a winger not full back.
  15. I priced them too and it wouldn’t cost a lot to do it.
  16. Whether or not the club could be arsed to fix the drainage. The club decided they couldn't be.
  17. I'm sure the club thought very carefully about that when speaking to Hull City and the FA about when we would prefer the fixture to be played, with our supporters in mind. I'm sure we'll get a relatively small fee for it being shown on the Discovery Channel, that will pay for adequate drainage of maybe one of the penalty areas or something. Most of our games under Ismael could have been shown on the Comedy Channel.
  18. Edit: To back up the "eye test" 13 teams have conceded more goals than us (including Millwall in 4th) and two have conceded the same amount. However only TWO teams have scored less goals than us - (Portsmouth and Sheffield Wednesday) If the latter stat doesn't improve, that's where we are finishing imo.
  19. No trains to Hull that Sunday if anyone was thinking of using that as a method of transport, rail replacement buses instead.
  20. At least Ill be able to watch it. If I want to spoil my Sunday afternoon.
  21. If they were still here they'd have to be plaiting sawdust. It's the lack of goals at the other end that's an even more terminal problem imo.
  22. To think someone was moaning about Beck in summer and now we have De Neve.
  23. Is this just a Macron thing then? Put out a white shirt with a Maltese cross as an anniversary edition, even though neither have any particular relevance for the Club concerned. Perhaps they've got a bulk order of 10m lying about they need shut of.
  24. Whilst Hull had a transfer ban too I might add, shows what they thought of him.
  25. PNE. Proves something or other about the ragtag bunch we have at the back, supposedly.
  26. Still, a white Macron shirt with a Maltese Cross, who knew such things could reach the market.
