  1. Past hour
  2. Well its opinion and unlike you he and others think the EFL is wrong decision.
  3. Everything Jack Walker did for this club in rebuilding the Club trust with the Fanbase has been thrown down the shitter.Makes my blood boil.
  4. LT: "One of the most galling claims by Rovers, made in a statement on Saturday, is an alleged refusal to cooperate by the Lancashire Telegraph." The Club stated we were being unreasonable by sending Elliot to Charlton on Saturday. Just who hell do these berks running our Club think they are!😬 😬 To the fans coalition...please strike while the Iron is hot.
  5. I see Gardner-Hickman has been rolled out to do an interview on the official twitter saying how its his "second" home debut and to have a bit of a whinge about it again.
  6. If we draw or lose tonight the LT should be all over this, especially with recent events considered.
  7. if we lose though, it will be the fault of the ref, or the crowd, or some other feeble excuse, as Rovers have a fantastic squad, far stronger than last year.
  8. Today
  9. That is unbelievably shocking. A truly committed manager would never have booked that trip in the first place, and even if he had, would have cancelled after that disgraceful performance on Saturday to work on what went wrong. What sort of example does it also give to the players……… ‘ ah well that was abysmal, not to worry, got to shoot off now. See you Monday afternoon and we can have a chat about the next game then. What, it’s on Tuesday? plenty of time’
  10. Tom Bloxham Interview There is more, click on the link above for the full thing, but I found the below to be interesting When asked about his conversations with senior figures at the club, Bloxham was straightforward. “I wouldn’t say I had many. I must say I was surprised my move to Grasshoppers was made so difficult,” he admitted. RoversXtra understands that Blackburn were firm in negotiations with Grasshoppers, initially pushing for a high sell-on clause while removing the training fee. After a lengthy process, an agreement was finally reached on September 1st, with a 25 percent sell-on clause in place, which allowed the training fee to be waived. When asked about the general feeling among the youth players at Blackburn, Bloxham chose his words carefully. “I don’t want to speak on behalf of others, but a lot has changed during my two-year spell at Blackburn,” he said. When asked for his thoughts on the ownership at Blackburn, Bloxham admitted it wasn’t an area he could give much detail on. Bloxham said “I can’t comment on the ownership, I honestly haven’t got much insight to tell, unfortunately, or I would,” he explained. “Football is a business at the end of the day, and the club is always looking to make and save as much money as possible.” That said, he did open up about frustrations over how his own situation was handled during his move to Grasshoppers. “I would’ve liked my transfer to be dealt with a lot better. What they did was allowed, but morally I feel it was wrong. To release a player and still ask for compensation and sell-on fees, to the point it could have stopped a move happening, was just so frustrating from my end.” He also revealed just how complicated the move became behind the scenes. “It took involvement from the EFL, FA and PFA to speak to Blackburn and help this move to Grasshoppers get over the line, and perhaps without them it wouldn’t have happened. For them, I’m very grateful for their involvement.”
  11. I am convinced it has been all kept under wraps to keep the relationship intact. Who knows what's going on behind closed doors now, but they could have a filed day now, unless the club back down and quickly.
  12. To the extent there are any skeletons, not sure why the LT would be aware of any of them. They could have a field day highlighting instead of ignoring as previously some of the stuff that's in the public domain though. Investment turned down for the ladies team, deliberately relegated, now losing anything from 5 or 6 nil to 13 nil every week. The Court Case. Wharton offloaded for a pitiful amount to keep the lights on. Sky Sports removed from Blues Bar. The dispute with the kit manufacturers. CEO left and not replaced. The allegedly toxic atmosphere within the Club and the very high turnover of both playing and non playing staff. And that's all relatively recent stuff without even examining the transfer deadline day debacles or before that events from years ago.
  13. With Swansea fetching about 300 I doubt there will even be 7,000 actually in the ground.
  14. The BBC still think Hyam is a rovers player - be interesting to see how he gets on tonight against both Swansea and Leicester
  15. let's hope they really go to town, as this feels like the perfect opportunity for the local paper and the fans to unite and show these people for what they really are.
  16. Get ready for one of the lowest attendances we've seen in years for a league match. They've got away with this season so far due to good away support, but not tonight. They'll announce the crowd as around 10-11k, in reality be around 7-8k inside Ewood.
  17. Expose? Which one???? They could run one a day for at least a week. Andy Cryer sent a welcome message of solidarity. Now there is a gentleman who went through a lot when covering the Rovers. I will repeat myself, the club statements offer no room for compromise. A very dangerous game for the club to be playing. Gestede may not know the extent of the skeletons littering Ewood since the start of 2010. Find it difficult to believe Pasha doesn't know at least 80% in which case this ban is both reckless and desperate.
  18. Hope he has some clout and can start to sort these club wreckers out.
  19. Yes but if the River Darwen is running high after a Friday deluge, the drainage would still be waterlogged the day after....
  20. Presumably still ‘an excellent appointment’ according to some esteemed posters on here?
  21. WATR are meeting with Martyn Henderson next week. Martyn is Interim COO at the Independent Regulator for Football. It is probably the first step in a long process.
  22. I would imagine its only Radio Lancs pre match there now until the issue get sort with the LT. This issue with LT and Elliott need sorting ASAP.
  23. Yeah, why not, after ditching the EFL mandated supporters consultations they’ve also somehow managed to wrangle the FF down to just two meetings during the season. So might as well get rid of pressers too as all the local journos are suddenly ‘not up to the club’s very high levels of professionalism’, nothing to do with wanting to avoid scrutiny, of course.
  24. Eventually something will give and they'll leave. But I fear that will still be a long time coming, at which point there'll hardly be anything left.
