I think you need to read it more closely - he specifically mentions that it is only the fact that he was wearing a helmet that means he is still alive today. This myth that he wasn't wearing a helmet keeps on surfacing on here despite the fact that there are numerous interviews and even a whole f-ing book where he states clearly that he absolutely never refused to wear a helmet - in fact, he says his girlfriend had lost hers whilst they were out and he offered her his, but she refused as he was the one driving. He's a really, really good Championship LB. He could probably make the step up into the bottom third of the PL. However, sadly he's a bit of a crock.

Don't waste your time or energy moaning about Derby or Eustace. Spend it moaning about the people who have allowed this situation to develop. This is professional sport. Eustace and Derby are merely taking advantage of our strife.
