  1. Past hour
  2. As stated on the LT thread I will be in self imposed exile for the Derby game. I was at Ewood for the 100th anniversary season as part of the ‘Leyland Blues’. This is me on the pitch (note: I suspect the club may use this as an excuse to ban me from Ewood Park for this pitch incursion): I was there for the 125th anniversary and have continued ever since apart from 2 seasons when I boycotted but donated my ST to a refugee charity in Blackburn (I never published this before). The club, sorry my club, is rotting from the head down. For someone with an emotional contract with Rovers it is painful to watch. It is run by folk with no emotional contract; they do not engage, it is all one way. Enough is enough. I am not going along to what will be a 3rd rate farce. I even heard from my club contacts that they were thinking of presenting Steve Kean with one of those silly flat caps - if / when Rovers staff members read this please deny this will be the case. Alternatively please go ahead; it will be your downfall.
  3. Had to hide a lot of posts to do with politics just now, (thanks for reporting, this bringing them to our attention) this is in spite of everyone knowing politics isn’t allowed on this side of the forum. Posts have been hidden on this occasion, but next time it’ll be short bans.
  4. In the absence of Cantwell, that would be my first thought of what to do
  5. You would think keeping Hedges on the left where he has done OK this season and bringing in Ohashi for Cantwell with Gudjohnsen leading the line would be the way to go. No way does that side get anything today.
  6. Remember this cropping up before, I’ll bet you some won’t 😅.
  7. What a strange team. When you lose an attacking player, it tells you a lot when none of De Neve, Henriksson and Kargbo are deemed as the answer, instead choosing Pickering in a team that makes no sense. 2-0 Charlton but in the absence of any media, Rovers to report a 1 nil win.
  8. Why has it taken so long for the club to ban the reporter over a tweet over Travis, which was made several weeks ago. I suspect the club have tried to get the LET to dismiss him and replace him with their own PR dept.
  9. Nothing galvanises journos more than one of their number being banned…
  10. Dawn Dunn- a relative of David?
  11. Intrigued see Hedges play if this is true. We all know he doesn't have the pace to beat his man on the wing but feel he may suit a number 10 role. Or is it a 3 uptop and 5 at the back? Looking forward to seeing Gudjohnsen, he's looked sharp, he'll be more effective than Ohashi.
  12. I’ve asked them to add this one to their directory as “The 4000 Holes” 😆 https://www.ryderamies.co.uk/scarves/shop/create-your-scarf/
  13. I think Pasha/Gestede and Co have made a mighty blunder here. They can treat their own staff and players like dummies but banning the local paper from reporting Rovers because they don't like what they say is unprecedented. Bound to get national media attention of a very negative kind. Suppose the National Union of Journalists bans their members from reporting on Rovers? We wiil be a laughing stock. This reeks of panic and very much supports Glen's view that the op[position is getting to them. Whoever made this decision is an idiot. I doubt Pune will approve.
  14. A football club has and always will belong to the people. Some people cannot afford to go to games, some people physically cannot attend games and they use any media outlet to follow their club. A football club has no right to block an outlet from reporting things to their fans. This is just wrong, embarrassing and a flex of power that would only be thought of by pathetic, weak and incompetent management.
  15. On a nostalgic note (& Rovers will never do it…) a few on here have asked me about us doing some Rovers college scarves. The price point is too high for us but if you were looking for a special Christmas gift, these seem really good… https://www.ryderamies.co.uk/scarves/shop/create-your-scarf/
  16. No he isn't injured, told his other half is in labour so I suppose we can forgive him.
  17. The grassy knoll behind the Riverside has turned into a wood.
  18. Today
  19. Is it that lineup in that formation? or a 5-2-3 with Pickering as a left centre back & Ribeiro as a wing back? Is Cantwell injured? Jackson also omitted him from his predicted lineup, although he went for Pickering replacing Ribeiro, & Gudjohnsen coming in for Cantwell alongside Ohashi in a 4-2-3-1/4-4-2
  20. I am making a personal decision not to attend the Derby 150 game. I am so disappointed with the club I have supported for 58 years. The present regime at Ewood Park do not have the best interests of MY club at heart. They are rogues.
  21. If one of those players is banned for the replay based on accumulated yellows…
  22. I like it but I suspect it will be lost on the majority of fans.
  23. No Cantwell. 13th consecutive away defeat to promoted sides incoming.
