  1. Past hour
  2. Don't boo the Pash! Probably revenge for the letter and booing from last season... Big, big questions asked of this squad, we need some serious luck with injuries this season, or it's gonna be a long one.
  3. Tbf he arrived and looked like he had been sent here instead of wanting to come. Never seen a less enthusiastic signing
  4. I thought you could recall them after 4 weeks but not before. I might be wrong doesn't Castore have big contracts with England Cricket, Red Bull racing, Everton, England Rugby team?
  5. Rudy smirking in the background😑
  6. Watcha gonna do?,watcha gonna do?,watcha gonna do when big Pasha come for you!
  7. Cost cutting. There is no aim to go up. RG said it is not important.
  8. It wasn't that long ago we were turning down higher bids for the likes of BBD and Rothwell, supposedly at the owners' behest, preferring to retain their abilities rather than allow them to leave (rightly or wrongly). Now Β£2.7m for our main CB on deadline day, with no replacement, is something we 'can't turn down'. I don't see this as some masterful evolution of our strategy to stop players leaving on a free - it's the taps being turned off and us needing to claw in whatever transfer money we can, whilst making sure the wage bill continues to drop. It would be interesting to know what the actual terms of our permanent transfers are, in terms of how the fees are being paid, and how these signings contrast with a like-for-like comparison to the wage savings of those being replaced.
  9. If ever there was time for a Glen Mullan/Balaji transfer intervention...
  10. I'm not blaming 'the fans' for our situation, but I do hold those (Increasingly few) who publicly defend the regime in contempt
  11. Can someone run me through where the current logic is regards projects and transitions. In some respect I accept promotion is challenging and with a smaller budget that can't be possible. Evidence suggests (Szmod, Hyam) we should be buying competitive league one players, but we've shifted Riordan out again on line to then clear his 'pathway' Instead we are buying players to convert to ESC slots, but in turn have gotten rid of a DoF who's had success at arguably the biggest success in European small budget football at Glint? We've now abolished the core of a proven championship team and manager, brought in a bit of a squiffy record hard man and given him the task of 'going up' with some real punts Pedigree like Morashita give me some hope for a plan, but changing him from a good player in a good side to a star player in a youth team doesn't align to any plan as far a I can tell
  12. Can’t announce Hyam’s exit til he’s filmed his hostage video.
  13. We’ll be scouring the free agent market.
  14. Don't do the blaming the fans thing, it's embarrassing.
  15. How is the regime going to paint Hyam as the villain of this sordid affair? They pulled it off to perfection with Travis.....but pushing their luck expecting people to believe that sort of thing twice in a couple of weeks
  16. So we're selling our primary cb because basically 'the offer was too good to turn down' but there's no sign a replacement has been lined up and the only player we are strongly being linked to is yet another right back (that seems almost identical to lewis miller) that about sum things up?
  17. I know numbers don't always tell the whole story, but if Hyam does go, here's some stats. Of the 8 players that will have been moved on, between them they made 223 starts last season, 219 of those were full 90 minute appearances (meaning those 8 averaged 28 full games each). 3 of our top 5 appearance makers are gone, It also leaves out Aynsley Pears, who sits second for minutes and appearances; include him in the exiled list and that becomes 4 of our top 5. I've excluded all loanees from the list too. That is nothing short of a catastrophic loss of experience and continuity. No amount of lipstick can hide that.
  18. I know deep down I want us to win but it all feels irrelevant, losing interest fast.
  19. Castore have a history of putting club badges on upside down, kits tearing easily and putting tags on with another clubs badge on, so it doesn't surprise me if we have a signed a deal with them.
  20. My WhatsApp inbox tells me that we had a kit deal sorted with Adidas including a refurb of the club shop (perhaps a waste of time when Rovers discourage footfall), a players boot deal along with Rovers Spezial trainers and a part of the 2026 Spezial FC range. What the insider tells me is that he believes there are two breach of contract claims. This may of course be a complete tosh. I am just passing on info received.
  21. I'd appreciate any info you have too, if you don't mind sharing.
