"The club remains committed to work constructively with supporters and values their passion". That is absolute horse shit and should have been called out by Radio Lancs. They have been sent an open letter by multiple supporters groups and have ignored it, that is a fact. So they are clearly not committed to working with supporters at all, and Radio Lancs are a vessel peddling questionable statements.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Quite...but it is a standard, defensive tactic to pick off individuals out of a protest group. -

Selles is in employment so highly unlikely I'd say. Who was the last manager we paid compensation for? Appleton? And even that was peanuts. -
How many more fans will it take to make up for the players Ismael says we can’t compete without?? 🤔

They seem worried.

Can't imagine the person in question would have any sort of case to defend. Why would RG be picking on this one particular individual? He certainly wouldn't be spoilt for choice! -
I guess the ticket sales for the Watford game are in the toilet. They're clearly rattled but at the same time trying to sow division in the fanbase. We lose and it's "Well, the boys didn't get the backing from the fans" Win and it's "The real fans were excellent and backed the lads through thick and thin" For most people, these words are totally meaningless but it will get the happy clappers chirping again.

It's remarkable how Hughes seems to have lost so much of his 'touch'. In reality, done nothing remarkable since leaving Rovers (how he must rue the day) and some would say he has 'bombed' in a number of his jobs. Would take him over Ismael but feel he's very much yesterday's man. -

Very stressful for him...I assume he hasn't done anything criminal etc. Also, I think we could probably get together to raise funds to help him defend his case? We should expect them to target individuals like previous times. Anyway, I think the Gaslight Gobshite has got off very lightly. -
You reap what you sow and this has been coming for 15 years it isn't a knee jerk to a run of bad results. The size of the crowd will make no difference whatsoever to the result and the clowns in charge want as many as possible in there so they can spin it to their bosses as a storm in a tea cup...again.

Im sure that can be done. -
Not really a genuine statement though is it? Generic AI inspired waffle which roughly translates as: "We know there's a boycott planned for Saturday and we really couldn't give a **** but we have to pay lip service to it and say something" Bit naughty to hint there might be trouble or a nasty atmosphere. Ironically that might persuade a few more to stay away.

Awful. I think we should find a way to get this out there without mentioning the poster's name. Actually, I have wondered about this, myself, as I have really been going for him on line. -
Interesting that they've released a statement about it. They normally dismiss these kinds of things as a "minority of fans". The fact they've released a statement confirms they are worried and ticket sales for the game are very low. Even the most patient of fans have lost patience. Or maybe it's more because no one can face watching De Neve, Henriksson, et al anymore. The only downside is that it gives Val a ready made excuse when we lose the game. He'll blame the lack of fans in the ground for us losing.

Yeah, Im very uneasy about these alleged phone calls. I've only heard an extract from one of them on here which sounded like a prank call trying to make Suhail sound stupid. Are they prank calls or are they recordings of genuine business transactions? If the latter, why would they be recorded in the first place, who recorded them and and did both parties know they were being recorded and agree to it? Either way the Coalition has put in a lot of hard work (seemingly at their own expense) and at the moment the way results have fallen we have them on the ropes. Imo care has to be taken not to undermine that by doing anything that allows the Club to take the moral high ground.

One thing to add to this, is one of our prominent posters on here, has been threatened with legal action by him, for fighting the cause against him. I will let him decide if he elaborates or not, but he called me one nights several weeks ago pretty distressed by it. I did reassure him that it was just hot air and idle threats, which would not see the light of day, but what you highlight in your post is confirmed by those threats. The guy is a bully and a coward, who will not admit to his mistakes. -
Yes, you might have solved it there.

v Watford (h) - 24/1/26
RevidgeBlue replied to WacoRover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Can't see it. I can see us losing but something going against us at some point during the game giving the excuse factory license to go full steam into overdrive again. It always used to happen with Mowbray, even in the midst of the various death spirals there usually seemed to be something that happened in most games he could point to to deflect blame away from himself. -

Not sure if Gestede came from money or not but hes always had the air of an entitled brat. I think though primarily he's all about the money and nothing else looking at his career and the fact he seems to be hated by fans of both Boro and Villa. Hes now managed to add probably the only remaining fans who liked him for his brief playing spell here although not sure how Cardiff fans feel. I seriously get Steve Kean era vibes from this lot now in charge though and this geezer would be the first person i'd boot through the door.
